  • This episode is an interesting one at that, but again, they use the same actor over and over again for different roles, so that always puts you out a little bit
  • This one is well worth your time if you don't mind seeing the same people over again'these same people who aren't the best actors in the world

I am reviewing The Case of the Blind Man’s Bluff, a Sherlock Holmes episode from the boxed set, Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Series 39 Thrilling Episodes. This series was produced by Sheldon Reynolds and filmed in France in the fifties.

Ronald Howard, the son of actor Leslie Howard, stars as Sherlock

Holmes, and Marion Crawford stars as Watson.

The Case of the Blind Man’s Bluff pits Holmes against a so called blind man.

In all honesty, the man is pretending to be blind with the hope of gaining an advantage on a certain family in order to burgle them.

      Holmes is ...

      • not outdone by the man, and exposes him in the end for who he really is.

This episode is an interesting one at that, but again, they use the same actor over and over again for different roles, so that always puts you out a little bit.

        It’s still enjoyable mind

you, but part of the intrigue must be gone.

This one is well worth your time if you don’t mind seeing the same people over again’these same people who aren’t the best actors in the world.

        Far from it.

Howard and Crawford seem to be the only competent actors in the series.
