This booklet with a selection of 18 warm-ups for SATB-choirs has been a big inspiration to my warm-ups with different choirs. The warm-ups are notated for 4-part-choir, but are just easy to use with one, two or three parts.

They cover a number of different styles,

and each exercise has instructions and tips that are relevant to the particular style it practices.

The book is a good source of inspiration to making your own warm-ups in several parts.

Some of the warm-ups are now, in the original form or altered to suit ...

      • my choirs perfectly, part of my standard warm-upp-repertory.

        The booklet is not expensive.

Any choir can pay $3 for one book for the choir director.

I don’t recomend, however, that you get a copy for each singer.

This is completelly unnecessary, as the excersises are usually

short (between 4 and 16 bars).

Also, the sight reading of the music takes focus away from the training of the ear in listening to the chords.

I recommend this book not only to new choir conductors, but also to older ones, to inspire to new fresh exercises for the choirs!
