This book titled Forget You Had a Daughter is a story of Sandra Gregory was caught smuggling heroin through Bangkok airport in 1993. In 1993 she was arrested at Bangkok airport for carrying 89 grams of heroin for her companion then.

      Instead, she was sentenced by

the court in Thailand to 25 years in prison.

She wrote letters to her family, and telling that them how she felt and everything.

Even though she had some a grave mistake, I think 25 years is a bit much for her.

      I wouldn’t be ...

      • able to live with that kind of sentence.

After serving her 8th year, MPs helped her to make another appeal to the King of Thailand that her sentence was quite longer than needed be.

The appeal was granted, and hence, the autobiography of this book.

/> She wrote about her experiences in the prison, surrounded by psycho, murderers, thieves and the likes.

Her journey is not to be followed, but at the same time, reading about her made me sad.

About the family and daughter she had left behind, and how she must have felt then.
