Hamburger Helper Italian Shells

As much as I like Hamburger Helper for the convenience, I do have to wonder about the quality of some of their products. The flavor I had today, Italian Shells, illustrates this perfectly.

      The Italian Shells themselves

      didn’t taste too bad.

They were a bit salty but I can live with that.

However, it took forever to get the Hamburger Helper to cook.

Well after the suggested cooking time, we were still waiting for ...

      • the shells themselves to get soft.

In fact, I was in a rush at lunch so I had to take a bowl and eat around the hard shells just so I could get back to work.

Would I recommend buying the Hamburger Helper Italian Shells? Yes.

It is easy to make and tastes half-way decent without costing too much money.

However, if you’re going to make it, be prepared to wait a while for it to get done.
