      A couple of years ago Marvel announced that it was going to be producing animated film versions of many of its comic books, which would be released straight to DVD. The Invincible Iron Man is one of these

      animated films.

      In terms of the plot, anyone familiar with the character of Iron Man will immediately recognize it, as it is essentially another retelling of Iron Man’s origins, although there are some differences from the more canonical versions.

      None of these are too big of a deal in my personal opinion and for the most part I quite enjoyed the film.

      cater more to their comic book fan base, since these films aren’t as mainstream as, say, the big budget Hollywood productions.

      The animation also gives it a more of a comic book type feel, which I enjoy.

      the animation isn’t top notch, it is pretty good if I must say so myself.

      Definitely serviceable for the material at hand.

      If you like comic books and you like animated adaptations of comic books then you will enjoy The Invincible Iron Man.
