I really enjoy reading the book Can You Keep a Secret? This book was written by Sophie Kinsella. It was borrowed to me by my colleague at work, and she says the author was the one who wrote the Shopaholic novels.

I do remember those novels and have read it before.

The write has given the same charm in this book

Can You Keep a Secret? I really like the fact that her tactic of writing is always focused on a main character and working towards the ’supporting role’ casts beautifully.

In this story, Emma Corrigan is a young woman with a gentle heart, but with the mistake of telling a stranger on an air-plane some dreadful secrets about her personal life and ...

      • some work attitude antics back in her office.

She told her secrets to a man on the plane she met, and it was pretty harmless to tell secrets to someone that you know you will never see again.

But, that man turned out to be her CEO when she came back to the office.

She was so embarrassed, and this is the

        best part of the story.

How Emma faces her new CEO and how her love life with her boyfriend then turned out to be.

There’s a linkage with this stranger, and the story though predictable and funny, gets a bit familiar and boring at times.

I just wish that the author could experiment a bit more on some daring stuffs.
