  • It's these kinds of moments that have you grinding your teeth trying not to make the slightest bit of noise really interesting and exciting
  • Thief unfortunately doesn't match up to the standards that have been set by games such as Resident Evil or Splinter Cell but it is up there as a game that you should rent before you think about making a purchase

Thief Deadly Shadows is a cool game set in the past round about the 1700’s. Stealth is the aim of the game although there is the option of being able to knock someone out and then drag them over to a dark spot so that they won’t be noticed.

The main character does not have any guns or anything like that instead he has a bow

and arrow which he can use to take out the bright areas of the level with a water arrow the fire will then extinguish and then he can proceed with out being detected.

Of course this gets the guards attention for a short time as they wonder why the lights have gone out but then they will return to their normal patrols.

Early on in the game there are two people sitting down by the fire with a table between the chairs, which has a diary that you have to steal.

There is also a guard who does his normal walking route up and down.

You must steal the diary without being detected, as I walked up to the diary my face was glued to the screen trying not to get caught ...

by the guards or the people sitting in their chairs with their backs to me.

It’s these kinds of moments that have you grinding your teeth trying not to make the slightest bit of noise really interesting and exciting.

However the game being set in the 1700’s does have it’s problems the graphics can be poor in places and the whole environment can sometimes seem to

      be of poor quality.

Whenever you can open a door it will turn blue to let you know that you can open the door this kind of walkthrough is not needed in this game.

Thief unfortunately doesn’t match up to the standards that have been set by games such as Resident Evil or Splinter Cell but it is up there as a game that you should rent before you think about making a purchase.
