Washington DC
  • I absolutely found the gemstones section breathtaking, if you're interested in that sort of thing, but I wasn't, but even then I found it interesting so I assume many people would be as well
  • It seems to be the center of attention in the museum and even the tour guides take people out here to see this so I highly recommend it

In washington DC there are many museums besides the Heritage Museum but I’ll be focusing on this one. Although they call it Heritage museum, it’s more like animals and gemstones, and artworks. Animals include marine animals, or mammals like birds. I absolutely

found the gemstones section breathtaking, if you’re interested in that sort of thing, but I wasn’t, but even then I found it interesting so I assume many people would be as well! There are many precious gems like amethyst (and its variations),

      • topaz, diamond, world’s biggest quartz crystal ball, and the famous “Hope Diamond” which is as big as a medium sized pebble and a lot prettier; it is purple like amethyst and shines brillantly. It seems to be the center of attention in
the museum and even the tour guides take people out here to see this so I highly recommend it. I would also recommend bringing a camera of course, the sights of these things are too beautiful so you’ll want to see them again later on.
