Grammar Smart, written and published by The Princeton Review,is an excellent and straightforward guide both for students who are baffled by grammar, and for teachers who are frustrated because their students just don’t get grammar, no matter how it is taught. What I really like about this

book, as a teacher, is that everything is broken down in a very simple, straightforward manner.

They are no lengthy and confusing explanations, so that most students grasp ant grammar concept almost immediately.

For example, for anyone who wishes to learn about nouns, there are brief explanations ...

      • of different types of nouns, followed by clear and entertaining examples.

        In fact.

this book not only presents the concepts in a clear and concise manner, but is also enertaining.

I also like the fact that the explanations and examples of each concept are followed by good

        exercise to check for understanding.

In fact, this book is so clear, concise and entertaining that I used it successfully with my Special Education students.

Overall, I would recomment it to anyone who wishes to brush up on their grammar and for teachers who looking for a painless way to teach grammar.
