This movie attempts to teach some good lessons. One of them is, Do not lie.

Jason is a habitual liar, he tells stories all the time, with and without reason.

Neither his friends nor his parents believe much of what he is saying.

So when Marty, a big shot from Hollywood, steals Jason’s homework ideas to use for a screenplay,

no one takes Jason’s claims seriously.

Seeing that he won’t get any help, Jason follows Marty to LA and starts messing up his life trying to force him to confess that he stole the idea.

Marty, who has walked all over people building his career, finds out what it is like to be walked all over.

      Another lesson: You reap ...

      • what you sow.

Jason wins in the end, and we hope he has learned the lesson.

However, based on how he achieved this victory, it is highly unlikely that he will be a good kid from now on.

He sneaks off to LA all by himself and breaks all kinds of laws when he torments Marty - but none of

that seems to matter in the end.

Even Jason’s father, disappointed in his son before, says that Jason has regained his trust.

I’m not sure this is a positive message.

Still, teens and pre-teens will probably love this flick.

Painting a guy blue, crashing his car, gluing a phone to his ear, and stuff like that - what can be better than that?
