  • I think that this is a good idea to help guests those do not bring their laptops
  • I used the computer to browse google map to find out my way to some tourist spots
  • Unfortunately there is no washing machine accessible by guests
  • There is then no option of taking more sausage or not taking the scrambled egg, for example

Have you ever stayed in a nice but affordable hotel, and also easy access because of its proximity to both a railway station connecting to other cities and also a subway station connecting to every corner of the city? The answer is Almond Hotel Busan Station. Both railway and subway stations are located within three to five minutes walking distance. Gimhae Airport is about 40 minutes by subway and then by LRT.

My room is a family room accommodating three persons. Which distinguishes my room from the rooms at other hotels is that there is a desktop computer with a high speed internet connection. I think that this is a good idea to help guests those do not bring their laptops. I used the computer to browse google map to find out my way to some tourist spots. Unfortunately there is no washing machine accessible by guests. Another weakness, of room 708 in particular, is that there is only one small window that can be opened along the walls of the room. Unfortunately the view out this window is blocked by other buildings.

Breakfast is very limited in terms of both amount as the ingredients (except bread and juice) are prepared by the servant and guests have no access to the food, and variety as there are only a piece of each sausage, bacon and a Chinese bread, a little salad and scrambled egg, and a half banana. There is then no option of taking more sausage or not taking the scrambled egg, for example. But for 85 dollars a night I think this situation is acceptable.

  • The Entrance to Almond Hotel. Unlike other hotels those have main entrance facing the street, the lobby of this hotel is just next to the parking area.

  • Almond Hotel Busan Station
  • The lobby forms a narrow long alley with a few chairs. But it has standard facilities as a hotel should do, such as luggage lockers and a toilet.

  • Almond Hotel Busan Station
  • The facilities in the room are above expectation compared to the room rate. In room 708, there is a living space equipped with a small sofa and a desk top computer.

  • Typical breakfast. You can take bread as much as you want, but the one already on this plate cannot be added. I felt uneasy to ask for more.

  • Almond Hotel Busan Station
  • Large bathtub. I think it is designed for two persons taking bath at the same time. Perhaps it is good for young couple.

This hotel is very ideal for travelers as two most important transportation modes, subway and railway stations, are no more than five minutes on foot. City buses hub to a number of directions is also located just in front of the Railway Station. I assume that travelers spend their time mostly outside the hotel. In this case, they may not have a complaint about room windows with obstructed views. Guests with high prestige can leave the hotel early to look for breakfast outside.
