Aceclo Plus is my favorite medicine for tackling any sort of pain, body ache and headache, among others. It was first prescribed to me few years back for headache. Since then, I use it whenever required.

Aceclo Plus is manufactured and marketed by Aristo Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. which is one of the most reputed companies of India. It comes in the silver blister pack containing 15 tablets. One pack costs Rs. 65. When I compare the price with other brands, I find it little bit costly. Still I use it because of its effectiveness and instant result.

Aceclo Plus contains Aceclofenac (100 mg) and Paracetamol (325 mg). This combination works perfectly in case of fever and pain.

It is the dosage which needs to be taken care of. As mentioned above, I generally use it without consulting any doctor. The usual dose for me is one tablet a day. In fact, only one tablet is required to give relief from body ache and headache for which I use it. However, when using for fever, little bit care must be there. Taking high dose of Paracetamol is not good for liver. The general suggestion is maximum four tablets a day.

I have also taken it for fever during last season when I had dengue. What I found was little bit surprising. The pain used to go instantly, but fever was not completely tackled. It contains 325 mg of Paracetamol which should be sufficient for controlling fever. The physician at that time had told me that in certain cases like dengue, this medicine may not be helpful in tackling series of high fever episodes.

Talking about side effects, I always feel little bit sleepy after taking it. I wont call the symptom as drowsiness, but just a short duration urge to lie down and sleep. When I take it in the night, I sleep within few minutes. Apart from that, I have never encountered any problem.
My sister had told me to limit the use of this medicine. She is a doctor and understands the problem that it may cause. She advised me to first use lotion or pain killer balm and if that doesn't work only then I should use this medicine. I don't think that I am abusing it. However, there is also no denying that I resort to taking it as soon as I feel pain at any part of my body.

Overall, this is a good medicine for general fever and various pains. It may not be useful in handling high fever. If taken with care, it may not create any problem. It is little bit costly, but I have experienced that it works better and quicker than its competitors.
