Ed Sheeran, one of the most popular pop star right now, teamed up with Beyonce, another popular singer today, to deliver what might be an apt title for a song: “Perfect Duet”.

Even though the song was released on March 2017, it was solo. This new one is freshen up by adding Beyonce to create mesmerizing harmonies throughout the song. The result is specially beautiful and almost feels ethereal. The kind that makes you want to walk down the aisle and

      get married.

Ed Sheeran might become everyone’s wedding singer this generation. His previous song “Thinking Out Loud” was also used as a wedding song by a lot of marrying couples. But this “Perfect Duet” might just be the apex of his wedding-singing career. It’s so sweet, entrancing, and dazzling all at once. It’s making you fall in love if you haven’t already.

The melody of the song really helps it become a song that no one can hate. It’s so simple yet it is really affecting. The soft guitars are really soothing and makes for a nice daydreaming of your wedding day. If you’re a man you can basically visualize your girl walking down the aisle in her perfect white gown. And if you’re a lady you can imagine yourself walking in what could be the best day of your life. This song is going to become a wedding staple in the upcoming weeks. It’s too good not to become a wedding ...

      classic.

Surprisingly, Ed and Beyonce’s voices blend perfectly well. Before this duet I never really imagined them doing a song together because of the massive difference in their style. Ed is normal Ed in this song, with powerful raspy voice that’s never too tiring to listen to. Beyonce however, brings back her laid-back raw voice that is very reminiscent of her old song “Ave Maria”. Beyonce despite her well-known belts, restrains her voice so she doesn’t overpower Ed - and the

result is a very well-balanced duet that gives every singer his and her time to shine. And when they’re singing together the harmonies are really magical.

This song is such a nice change from the heavily-produced songs that are dominating the radios today. Its very sparse production with just a guitar and a few backing vocals provide relaxation in this otherwise chaotic world. It’s impossible not to love this song; its title could not be more fitting for what it is: a Perfect Duet.
