Since I started driving to Orlando to shop, I have always been familiar with the trendy clothing store H&M. At first I thought it was a juniors clothing store because the advertising is sometimes marketed for young adults, but once I had the opportunity to shop there and I have never looked back since.

One of the main reasons I love shopping at H&M is their prices. It's rare that their clothes are priced above $40. Even the makeup and accessories are marked $5 and below. I shop a lot for business wear and casual wear and I am always amazed how I can walk away with a complete look and still be under $50. The clearance area is the best because I have found a lot of great pieces--some within season and some not--for $5 or less. I discovered in order to take full advantage of the clearance area, I had to look through all the clothes because everything in the clearance area do not match the clearance price I am willing to pay. Nevertheless, I can always find something great.

Another great thing about H&M is that they carry a lot of separates. Unless it is a dress, I always try to buy my clothes in separates. Separates allows me to mix and match my outfits to get maximum use from them, and H&M has unlimited options when it comes to separates. I love wearing skirts and I am always buying H&M blouses to create a different look. Aside from skirts, H&M also has a great selection of pants/slacks, shorts, blouses and shirts.

The jewelry and the accessories department is what I expected: very casual. I have passed a few necklaces and bracelets I have purchased, but others I have skipped out on because it solely didn't match with my style personality. The handbags are the best. I am one of those women who do not need a brand name on a handbag to carry it around, and H&M have a great selection on totes for under $30. I like tote handbags because they are spacious and I feel as if I can fit my life into them. They carry a wide range of colors and they are very sturdy. H&M does carry smaller bags such as clutches, but I prefer my totes.

A bonus aspect about H&M is that there is both a children's and men's section. On the left hand of the store is dedicated to women, on the right hand it is dedicated to men, and in the back is where you can find children's apparel. I found a few things for my son, not a lot because he feels as if the clothes are too sophisticated for him and he is still stuck in his Spongebob stage of life. They have a great selection of jeans that I have been able to stockpile for my son when it starts to get cold.
There is also a lingerie section, but you have to be extremely cautious when it comes to sizing because your ready to wear size may be different than what H&M offers. I find it helps to know your measurements and then proceed from there. The lingerie department is great for those looking for Victoria's Secret style on a budget, and if you are a larger size, it helps to be in the store early so you can have first pickings because larger sizes tend to sellout quick.

H&M is a great alternative if you are looking for trendy and casual clothing on a budget. The clothes are well put together and stylish, so you will be able to get a lot of wear from them. The clearance is a must if you are really on a budget, but still want to look fabulous. There are all types of style options, and is a great place to look for both business and interview attire. There's a children's and men's section which makes it easier to shop in one location instead of roaming from store to store trying to find a children's and men's department. Also, the lingerie section is great but you have to be quick on your feet in order to get your size. H&M is the definition of style on a budget, and it caters to a lot of women of different ages which is what is great about the store.
