A few months ago, my wife and I started worrying about a dog of ours. She was old and fat — about 11-years-old and a solid 20 pounds overweight (that’s not good for a Labrador/dachshund mix). The old girl just kind of lounged around the house and had gotten so lazy that she would lie down and stick her head in her dog dish to eat.

old “zip” back. The dog is playful, happy and has energy to spare. The fact that all we did was change her food to Beneful Healthy Weight is significant — it costs just a little bit more than her old food (less than $16 for a 15.5-pound bag in my neck of the woods) and exceeded our expectations. In other words, this stuff is affordable and it works. Who can argue with that?
