Lip balm has always been a pain for me. Sometimes I bought lip balms which actually ended up making my lips drier, or sometimes it made them look a really strange color. So, I thought that maybe I’d have to buy a better brand to get the lip balm I was really hoping for. My lips are always dry, so I thought it was time to find a proper solution which i would be able to regularly buy. So, I found this ‘born lippy strawberry’ lip

balm while I was in the Body Shop. I though that it would be a good idea to give it a go and see if it solved my problem at all.

The first thing about this lip balm that I noticed was how smoothly it spreads on the lips. Even though it’s not a stick lip balm, it spreads so cleanly and easily. I also like the reddish tint that the lip balm leaves behind, and it’s also very shiny. Overall, it made my lips look wonderful.

They felt incredible as well. While the lip balm was on, my lips were soft and smooth - a drastic improvement from the previous chapped ones. For the first few days, after the initial effect of the lip balm wore off, my lips became dry and chapped again. However, a few days later, my lips became softer on the whole, even without the lip balm. This was a very impressive improvement, which I was happy with.

The only thing I didn’t like about this lip balm is how ...

you apply it. Once you’ve got it on your finger and you’re applying it on your lips it’s fine, However, if you have even slightly long nails (even just beyond where your finger ends), you end up with a little chunk of lip balm stuck in your finger nail. It’s very irritating, especially if you use the lip balm on a regular basis, or in a rush in the morning. I would suggest trying out the stick version of this lip balm if you have
      even slightly longer nails.

Overall, I absolutely love this lip balm. It makes the lips softer and smoother immediately, and it leaves them looking great too. In addition, it has a lasting effect if used regularly, and it can leave your lips softer even without the lip balm. The lip balm is not very pricey at all - costing only 2 GBP - and it’s also a high quality product. I would recommend this lip balm to everybody who ever faces problems with dryness of their lips.

I bought 10 pots of The Body Shop Born Lippy as a gift for my friends for a party I once held even if i myself haven’t tried it, and so one pot was left and I tried it. I Absolutely loved it My lips are as dry as dried fruits and it is chapped like crazy. So after 2 weeks of using the lip balm religiously, my lips are now as soft as a baby’s butt. True enough my friend’s loved it too Will definitely buy more and recommend it to friends and family.

Yes, it was the same for me My lips were so chapped and horrible before I used this lip balm, but there’s a stark difference between the feel of my lips before and after
