Music is the universal language and what do you think is the best way to listen to new and hit songs in your gadget? Well, we're lucky to have the Spotify app both in the AppStore and Play Store. The app lets music lovers use it for free and even lets them try their premium subscription. Today, I am going to review this app for you and let me help you decide if you should download it on your mobile or tablet. Let's start!

I would start with the app's design. Well it's a pretty neat-looking app. The fonts used in the app is also nice and easy to read. The main page of the app is very easy to understand and use even without instructions. The sliding design is also very great for me because it lets you see many things in the app especially your search history or other playlists.

Next thing I would talk about is the app's performance. The app can be closed but still play and it will use your default or installed music player so the music will never stop while you are opening other apps. As you can see, in the pic above, I minimized Spotify but the song it plays is still playing in the background. I also haven't experience lagging or crashing of the app. It's always working great in my iPad and also in my Lenovo tab and even in my Xperia Mini phone. It's really great because it gives you a lot of music choices so you don't have to download or stream in websites.

I just have to say something about the song choices. Well, there is just one thing that bothers me with this app. Spotify does not have Taylor Swift's songs. Like what? Your music app is really incomplete without Tay's albums and songs. I understand that Taylor herself pulled up her 1989 album from Spotify for some reasons but that is not a really good point for the app. They're really missing out on something big especially now that Apple also offers Apple Music which, of course, has Tay's album. So yeah. I just don't like that part since I am a Swiftie myself. But don't worry, Spotify at least has Taylor's songs from her older albums.

Having subscribed to their free services, Spotify does not let me choose specific songs to play for many times. They say that I should be subscribed to their premium in order to do everything I want. I can only shuffle a playlist in order to play songs from it and just wait for the song I'm wanting to hear at the moment to be played. That's really quite annoying since I am very impatient about little things and I am a music lover. I feel like Spotify restricts me from listening to my fave songs sometimes. I really feel bad about it since I don't have money to pay for the premium subscription every month.

Another thing I don't like about the app is that it doesn't allow me to try the premium for 30 days. It's just a free trial but they don't allow people who don't have credit cards. I still don't have one but I already have a bank account connected to my paypal account and it requires at least a paypal for the enabling of the trial. I don't like that they want their customers to be automatically charged by the end of the free trial. Isn't it much kinder if they just stop the trial and wait for our confirmation if we want to continue using premium but now with payment? I am just so annoyed because they don't let me try it for a month. I really love their premium because it has endless capabilities. By the way, Spotify is not that bad. It will first offer you a free 7 day trial of the premium. Obviously, I tried it but it's not enough. Then I received an email from Spotify that I can try the premium again but now for 30 days. It's just so depressing that they made me expect so much.
Just because I don't have a credit card, they won't let me try it again.
So here's a pic of the player of the app. I love that I can see the album cover of the song's album. You can really fangirl or fanboy to your favorite artists. There's also a shuffle mode just below the player's controls. You can also set a playlist or a song in repeat mode. Spotify also lets you connect your device to all your other device and play songs. I really love that I can do many things withthe app.

So what do I think about the app? I think this app is very good that you can discover and play new songs you know and you still don't know. There are also many songs you can play from it. So my final verdict? I would definitely recommend this to everyone who loves music that has easy access to internet and who doesn't like downloading songs every now and then. What do you think? Have you tried this app? Let me know! Feel free to comment your opinions and suggestions below. Thank you :)
