  • But comparing this movie to his predecesor wouldn't be fair, Avengers gave us our first look into what the team was and made it an incredible experience, it made us fall in love with this franchise, with Age of Ultron it really went deeper into the character development this people had gone through
  • From Ironman 3 to The Winter Soldier -- The development shown by these actors towards these characters is simply amazing
  • Other thing said was that Widow was basically shown as a lady that needed saving, not as the badass Natasha AKA Black Widow, but Natasha showed her badass side during the movie, I think by now the criticism comes from the lack of a Black Widow movie

One of the most expected movies from this summer. “Avengers: Age of Ultron”. A sequel to the big box office success to the first one. Bringing with it high expectations from the fans.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Directed by Joss Whedon, followed by the same cast and adding this time the talent of James Spader known for his most recent role on The Blacklist, as Ultron; the villain who brings the Avengers to their knees, and Elizabeth Olsen with Aaron Taylor Johnson known for their parts on the remake of Godzilla, now introduced as Wanda and Pietro Maximoff.

Or better known yet as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • The talent on this movie, is of course, bigger than the first one. But also it’s his plot, following the events of “The Winter Soldier”, we found the team reunited, this time to find Loki’s Scepter; as we saw on the last Captain America, it was on the hands of Baron Von Strucker.

It shows and presents to the viewers for the first time. The twins; the Maximoff twins and shows what Wanda is really capable of by showing Tony a vision of the dead avengers, hence, incrementing his vulnerability that was shown previously on Ironman 3 as he was coping with anxiety.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • This provokes a reaction on Tony, as to try and create the Ultron program. An armor around the world, a way to keep peace on earth. For this, Tony and Bruce known to the internet world as The Science Bros, unravel whatever power the Scepter has, discovering it has what Strucker had been toying with all this time,

    Artificial Intelligence.

But, the Scepter had a gem, one of the 6 Infinity Gems known on the Marvel Universe. The mind gem.

A source of energy, described by Thor, that is something no mortal should mess with.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • With “Age of Ultron”, the expectations were higher, in the matter of lines, character development and such.

But comparing this movie to his predecesor wouldn’t be fair, “Avengers” gave us our first look into what the team was and made it an incredible experience, it made us fall in love with this franchise, with “Age of Ultron” it really went deeper into the character development this people had gone through.

From “Ironman 3″ to “The Winter Soldier”– The development shown by these actors towards these characters is simply amazing. Following Thor’s decision’s made on “The Dark World”, to Tony’s anxiety in “Ironman 3″, and even showing Black Widow’s portrayal since “Ironman 2″

Joss does an extraordinary job to bring Ultron’s story into the big screen, portraying his ideal of a perfect world where the Avengers were the main cancer to peace.

However, I do must admit that although the movie is generally full of awesomeness, it does have certain areas where things could have gone better, were incredible or simply there was a lack off importance to them.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • For starters; Black Widow’s portrayal was a little off from what she has been made into the MCU so far, pairing her with Banner, seemed a little off and to consideration of a few fans forced, taking note that in the comics, Widow has a relationship with 3 other characters which are: Bucky, Cap and Clint; not to mention the sex tape with Tony.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • So, I guess, people were thrown off by this relationship with Banner, claiming that if Widow was going to have a relationship it should have been with either Clint or Cap, of course the “Clintasha” ships were sunk when Laura and 3 little brats appeared on the screen (BEST. THING. EVER).

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • In my personal opinion, I did liked at the end of the day the pairing and as Mark Ruffalo said on twitter, they didn’t made of Black Widow a relationship partner that needed saving, that was Banner.

Other thing said was that Widow was basically shown as a lady that needed saving, not as the badass Natasha AKA Black Widow, but Natasha showed her badass side during the movie, I think by now the criticism comes from the lack of a Black Widow movie.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Also the comparison of her being a monster for not being able to bare children is misinterpreted as she refers WHY is the reason she can’t have children that makes her a monster.

She’s a monster (in her mind) for letting the Red Room take that away from her as a graduation.

I mean, you do know at least how awful was her time there, right? She was physically and mentally broken. So her reference of “monster” is not because she is now unable to have children but because of how much damage did the Red Room on her.

  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Banner is shown in control of The Hulk for about 80% of the time, however when he’s hexed, he’s what he describes as the real Hulk. It would have been nice to see what was Banner’s dream planted by Wanda in the battle against the Hulkbuster. Could’ve been something related to the fact he wants a family but is unable.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is a movie that surpasses all expectations and delivers a performance from their actors that makes it such an expected summer release.

Age of Ultron is now playing on theaters since May 1st.

Jennifer Davis says :

My older daughters really want to see this, but I am concerned that it might be too violent for my youngest daughter. She is 10 years old and I don’t want to scare her too much. I have let her watch movies before that were too scary and she had nightmares. My husband says that I should let her watch it so that she will learn not to be afraid,am I being too overprotective?

Sara says :

This movie isn’t scary but does involve a great deal of violence. However as this movie deals with superheroes and their powers, it will definitely not scare a 10 year old. She would probably enjoy the movie. This isn’t a movie that would cause her nightmares.

I have a son, 9 years old. He wanted to see it but I thought the same as you did. According to me its too violent for kids because they can get easily influenced by these attractive superheroes and their stunts. I don’t want my child doing the same and getting injured.
