Furious 7, starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson is a movie that had high expectations before its release, primarily due to Paul Walker’s death, half-way through the filming of the movie. In my opinion, the movies in the Fast & Furious series have been disappointing but Furious 7 excels when I thought it wouldn’t. I found myself liking the movie and finally understood why so many people fell in love with this franchise.
Furious 7 starts off from where Fast & Furious 6 left off. Fast & Furious 6 ended with the main antagonist of that film, Owen Shaw, nearly being killed. In Furious 7, Owen Shaw is comatose and his older brother Deckard Shaw, vows to take revenge on those that caused such injury to his brother.
To get information on the people that did this to his brother, he engages a Diplomatic Security Service agent, Luke Hobbs in a fight and extracts the identities of the people from Luke’s office.
Dominic Toretto, Brian O’Connor and their crew are the ones responsible for putting Owen in a coma in the previous movie. They’re former criminals and professional street racers that have settled down and tried to move on peacefully with their lives. Dom has settled down with his wife Letty, a professional street racer who suffers from amnesia. Brian is married to Mia and they have a son, Jack. Mia is also Dom’s brother and tells him that she’s pregnant again but is reluctant to tell Brian because she doesn’t want him to feel burdened by another child.
Unfortunately, Deckard Shaw, bent on seeking revenge for his brother, attacks Dom’s crew. Dom and his crew try to track down Deckard to take him out but he slips away. Soon they are given the chance to retrieve a special program known as the God’s Eye, which utilizes complex technology to track anyone. If they retrieve this program and save it’s creator, they would be able to use the program to track down Deckard.
Furious 7 had a good story and over the course of two hours, director James Wan was able to make the story flow extremely well. The one thing standing against this film was the over-the-top stunts; for example there’s a scene where cars are dropped out of an airplane when the team is going on their rescue mission. It doesn’t take a scientist to see how implausible that is and yet it didn’t bother me that this movie was full of these unrealistic stunts, simply because the movie was engaging and the story was good.
This movie is great, Im not really fond of action movies but this one’s good. I Love the part when the car flew. Haha It was so amazing and Ending part was the best I was actually expecting that there will be a tragedy at the end with Paul Walker. They thought of a really nice ending and a tribute to Paul Walker. So by far Fast and the furious 7 is awesome.

I agree. Too many action movies focus on the sequences, rather than how the story is told. This movie really stood out
