  • I much prefer purchasing the bags of frozen Pillsbury biscuits over the biscuits that come in a canned roll because I love the convenience of being able to bake only the number of biscuits I want or think I will need
  • As mentioned, you can choose how many of these delicious biscuits you want to make, and my only wish is that once I have the bag opened, that there would be a resealable zipper or means to close the bag back up rather than having to rely on a twist tie
  • Still, it's a minor enough issue that it doesn't stop me from buying the frozen biscuits
  • I like that the biscuits are easy to slice in half as well as bite into
  • Whether you're making just a few for yourself or a bunch for the family, I highly recommend these frozen biscuits

I much prefer purchasing the bags of frozen Pillsbury biscuits over the biscuits that come in a canned roll because I love the convenience of being able to bake only the number of biscuits I want or think I will need. Fresh biscuits always taste better than biscuits that are leftovers and having been reheated. That’s why I stick with purchasing the frozen bagged biscuits even though I often times can get a better deal on the ones that are sold in the roll. The Pillsbury Grands! Honey Butter Frozen Biscuits are every bit as good as the ones that are sold in the canned roll and it’s well worth spending

four dollars and twenty-nine cents for a package of twenty tasty, soft biscuits!

As mentioned, you can choose how many of these delicious biscuits you want to make, and my only wish is that once I have the bag opened, that there would be a resealable zipper or means to close the bag back up rather than having to rely on a twist tie. Unless the bag is half empty or more, it’s not easy getting the twist tie around the twisted tip of the bag as the bag can be bulky. I wish that Pillsbury would sell these frozen biscuits in a resealable bag as that would add to the convenience

factor even more. Still, it’s a minor enough issue that it doesn’t stop me from buying the frozen biscuits. The small amount of time I spend fighting with the bag to get it closed isn’t enough to get me to go back to the canned rolls.

When these biscuits are baking in the oven, they give off a very pleasant, slightly sweet aroma! The honey butter is what contributes to the light sweetness that can be smelled and tasted. It’s not very strong, and for those that like a really rich buttery taste, these biscuits probably won’t fully satisfy. The biscuits are easy enough to slice open after being baked without crumbling ...

to pieces if you do decide you want to add your own butter or honey butter spread. I like that the biscuits are easy to slice in half as well as bite into. They are a little harder than say the flaky layer variety, but they are still very easy to bite into. I love having them with meals and I sometimes even make breakfast sandwiches out of them! I always try to keep a bag of frozen biscuits in the freezer because of how many uses I find for them.

Pillsbury Grands! Honey Butter Frozen Biscuits will cost you more money than the biscuits you buy rolled up in a can,

but for me, the convenience is worth the extra dollar and a half or so. I really like being able to bake just exactly what I need. Plus, the taste and texture of the biscuits is just wonderful. The honey butter flavor is just very satisfying, and that’s without it being overly strong. They couldn’t be much easier to prepare either as you simply take the number of biscuits you want, put them on an oven pan, stick the pan in and let them bake for around twenty minutes. Simple and scrumptious! Whether you’re making just a few for yourself or a bunch for the family, I highly recommend these frozen biscuits!
