It’s not uncommon for a slice of pie to be served with a scoop or two of ice cream on top. It’s not uncommon because it’s a dessert combination that works and works rather well at that! Ice cream and pie are two dessert items that are loved by many, so it’s no surprise to find the two combined into one from time to time, such is the case with the Harris Teeter All Natural Limited Edition Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream. As the name of the product suggests, it combines the flavor of pumpkin pie with the creaminess of ice

cream, and the result is a fairly satisfactory seasonal dessert treat, although for the price of five dollars and twenty-nine cents, it really should be supremely exceptional, rather than modestly satisfactory!

This forty-eight ounce container of ice cream really doesn’t have anything that sets it apart from some of the more reasonably priced brands. It is all natural when it comes to its ingredients, and that’s a good enough selling point for some consumers, but others may find the high price tag of the ice cream to be unappealing, especially if on a budget, in which case, I might instead suggest

going with the Belmont Premium Ice Cream Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream if you have an ALDI Food Market store within reasonable driving distance. It’s a couple of dollars cheaper, although the ice cream isn’t quite as creamy and smooth as the Harris Teeter brand is.

creams I’ve tried, this one included, I wonder why none of them have pieces of pie crust mixed in with the ice cream, much like other ice creams add cookie pieces or candy? I think that would bring the ice cream a step closer to resembling actual pumpkin pie. That minor curiosity aside, this ice cream does have an authentic pumpkin flavor and it’s not hard at all to make out.

If it’s important to you that your ice cream have all natural ingredients and you’re also looking for a pumpkin-flavored ice cream, then the Harris Teeter All Natural Limited Edition

Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream is worth checking out, as long as you’re okay with paying a little over five dollars for it. It’s available exclusively at Harris Teeter neighborhood food markets. For me personally, while the pumpkin flavor of the ice cream is rich, the amount of money it costs is also a bit too rich for my blood, and that’s why even if I catch it on sale again when I’m visiting in a state that has a Harris Teeter, I won’t be a buyer of it. It’s certainly a quality ice cream, but the value just isn’t quite right in my eyes.
