  • I believe that the ingredients in this product, if fed regularly to your pup, will enable them to keep limber and agile longer with less chance of long term problems
  • My dog loves these treats but the only problem is that a dog of her size, in order to meet the suggested amount per body weight, would have to eat over a dozen of these per day
  • I highly recommend these treats and I know my golden girl gives them an easy 2 paws up
  • Sweet potatoes are also great for dogs and the main ingredient, chicken, is my dog's favorite meat
  • I have noticed that if I give her too many of these though that she will have looser stools

I have been giving my golden retriever these treats since she was a puppy and they are still going strong a few years later in our house. She absolutely loves them and I, too, love them because they are so good for her. They are simple ingredients that you can understand without any unnatural preservatives.

There are only 5 ingredients in this entire treat. They include chicken, sweet potato, vitamin E, glucosamine, and chondroitin. I love this about them. There is nothing worse than buying dog treats filled with artificial preservatives and ingredients that you just don’t recognize. Dogs by nature are used to a simple diet that comes directly from nature. Sine our

pets don’t go out and hunt I find it our responsibility to provide them with the food closest to nature as possible. There’s so many treats out there loaded with BHT and cancerous ingredients just so the pet food companies can take shortcuts and mass produce their products to save a couple of bucks here in there.

Since this company doesn’t take any shortcuts with their ingredients; you definitely pay for it in the price which is the only downfall. I have found that at most pet stores you can get a large bag of these for around 18 USD but I also found that on drugstore.com they are sale priced for around 13.50 which is a big difference. I don’t buy these treats all the time because it’s a killer on the budget but whenever I can afford them I never hesitate to pick up a bag.

Anyone with large breed dogs knows that they are often prone to arthritis and hip problems. Even though there is not a lot of factual evidence studied in dogs with glucosamine and chondroitin; there are definitely a lot of beliefs that these ingredients are super powerful for the joints and limbs in both humans and dogs. There are several studies provided with these ingredients that support their claims, even though they are not officially evaluated by the FDA. I believe that the ingredients in this product, if fed regularly to your pup,

will enable them to keep limber and agile longer with less chance of long term problems.

My dog loves these treats but the only problem is that a dog of her size, in order to meet the suggested amount per body weight, would have to eat over a dozen of these per day. That would make the bag only last a few days which would really break the bank. Although the recommendations are 2 treats per 15 pounds of body weight; I never give that much. I find that you are giving your dog more nutrients with just a few per day than they would be getting without them at all. I don’t find it necessary to give such

      a high amount of these.

I highly recommend these treats and I know my golden girl gives them an easy 2 paws up. Every time I take the bag out of the cupboard she comes running full speed ready to do all her tricks for these. Sweet potatoes are also great for dogs and the main ingredient, chicken, is my dog’s favorite meat. I definitely feel these are worth feeding your dog as a special treat whenever you can.

As a side note, she has a very sensitive stomach and if I only feed her a few a day she tolerates them well. I have noticed that if I give her too many of these though that she will have looser stools.
