  • There are days where the morning hours just seem to get away from me and missing breakfast is not something that I like to have happen
  • I'd much rather though be able to have a more complete breakfast with one of these cereal bars on the side, though, as I enjoy them far more that way
  • They are soft and easy to bite into, a characteristic that I believe to be important in a cereal bar
  • I prefer though to have one on the side with a regular breakfast, because the cereal bar can be a nice little slightly-sweet treat with say toast and eggs, and help ensure too that I don't get hungrier sooner rather than later
  • For anyone that's tried other brands of apple cinnamon cereal bars and enjoyed them, I would recommend giving this brand a try as they are more affordable than the name brand and even the store brand cereal bars and seem to be of relatively good quality

It’s not always easy to make time for breakfast on some mornings. That’s a reality we’ve all likely faced at one time or another, and for some, it may be more common of a reality than for others. There are days where the morning hours just seem to get away from me and missing breakfast is not something that I like to have happen. While the Millville Fruit and Grain Cereal Bars alone aren’t what I would considered a balanced and filling breakfast, if I’m absolutely pressed for time and it’s either

something really quick or nothing at all, I’ll reach into the box and grab a couple. I’d much rather though be able to have a more complete breakfast with one of these cereal bars on the side, though, as I enjoy them far more that way.

The cereal bars are good, although a bit dry, but then again, other cereal bars I’ve tried under other brands have been this way too, so I don’t see it as a drawback unique to the Millville brand alone. They are soft and easy to bite into,

a characteristic that I believe to be important in a cereal bar. The main source of flavor comes from the apple cinnamon filling. I feel that there’s a fairly generous amount of fruit filling in these cereal bars. They aren’t overly sweet in flavor, and actually, the cinnamon is actually a little less prominent than I’d prefer. A better balance between the apple and cinnamon ingredients would have made me a little more satisfied with these cereal bars.

As I mentioned earlier, if I need something quick to grab and go with ...

so that I don’t end up thinking about lunch before eleven o’clock, these apple cinnamon cereal bars are one such option that I may turn to. Two cereal bars will knock out any minor hunger that I may be feeling, thanks to the whole grain content of them. They also aren’t messy, so that’s a plus too if I’m eating one while in a hurry or while doing something else. I prefer though to have one on the side with a regular breakfast, because the cereal bar can be a nice little
slightly-sweet treat with say toast and eggs, and help ensure too that I don’t get hungrier sooner rather than later.

For one dollar and eighty-nine cents for eight cereal bars at ALDI Food Market, the value and quality are enough to justify future purchases. For anyone that’s tried other brands of apple cinnamon cereal bars and enjoyed them, I would recommend giving this brand a try as they are more affordable than the name brand and even the store brand cereal bars and seem to be of relatively good quality.
