Directed by Paul Greengrass and based on the Robert Ludlum novel, Bourne Ultimatum will be recognized as the best movie in the series. Action packed and a lot of loose ends are tied up.

Bourne is once again on the run, finding about his past and saving his skin. A British reporter is on the trail of unveiling the operation that Bourne was part of. When the two meet Jason Bourne starts to remember new things from his past, secrets that might have been best for him to have forgotten. Bourne is now finally ending what was started years ago, finding out who he really is and why he is a hunted man.

The Bourne series has been the stepping stone for Matt Damon, the man that plays Jason Bourne. When

Bourne Supremacy came out a few years back I was a little upset, the story didn’t all seem there and the action was just not as good. Ultimatum is everything we loved about the first one, plus the important key factors from the second movie are answered here as well.

Ultimatum is one of those unique movies that will have you on your feet from the very beginning. For one we start out towards the end of the movie and we slowly progress to the end. The movie will make more sense when you choose to see it, you will be amazed from the beginning credits to the ending ones.

There is never a dual moment with the action in this movie. Ultimatum goes from England to the United States. Anytime

the location changes there is story to back it up as well, you won’t be left with a puzzled expression and why the movie is switching locations.

Julia Stiles is once again back and this time around she has a much bigger role. One part of the story that is not answered is what her character, Nicky Parsons, and Jason Bourne share. Flash backs are shown from the past movies and then we’ll be presented into present time, Bourne Ultimatum, with Nicky Parsons being shown.

All of the acting in Ultimatum fits well. The actors that play these characters seem to have really gotten into their roles, even the guys that get their asses kicked by Jason Bourne. If I had to find something wrong it would have to be Julia ...

Stiles character. She really doesn’t seem like the type of person to be involved with all this spy stuff, but hey who cares, she does a good job with her acting.

So you may be wondering what Bourne Ultimatum has to offer. There are enough special features on here that make this DVD well worth the purchase, both on DVD and HD DVD. I haven’t had the chance to see this movie on HD yet but it is still pretty awesome.

There are a total of five featurettes. Some of these have been seen before on television, I remember seeing something about the rooftop pursuit before. That doesn’t mean these featurettes are boring I’m just saying some of you may have seen these already. If you haven’t then you have a good

amount of extra footage to watch.

Some of the other features on this DVD include deleted scenes and commentary with the director, Paul Greengrass. The commentary track is done well. Greengrass gives a lot of good notes and what he was doing when certain scenes were filmed. It may have been neat to hear what Matt Damon had to say as well.

Bourne Ultimatum was the perfect movie. Other action movies like Live Free Or Die Hard and Transformers were good, but Bourne Ultimatum was better. Why? There are two main reasons. One the action in the movie is amazing and it seems believable. My other reason is the acting; this is defiantly an action movie that doesn’t get boring. If you need to get your fix on some action then pick this movie up.

I have seen one or two of the Bourne movies, but I have not yet seen Ultimatum, which sounds great and packed with lots of action a spy thriller. Paul Greengrass knows how to direct movies and Robert Ludlum knows how to write great novels. The action in the movie seems amazing and believable. That’s a plus for me and for anyone who love the Bourne movies.
