Despite having a bad reaction to this product, I think it’s a good quality facial cleanser for a decent price. If you’re looking for natural ingredients and great cleansing abilities, I would recommend testing this product out.
I bought these face cleansing towelettes from Target for about $6 for 30, so while they’re a bit more expensive than similar products, they’re in the mid price range in terms of other natural products. I normally use facial cleansers, especially products like St. Ive’s to clean off makeup, but because I was planning on traveling, I wanted to reduce the number of liquid items by as much as possible. These
towelettes are ideal for travel because they don’t count towards your carry-on liquid allowance, and they’re ideal for cleaning off makeup and just washing your face in general.
The natural ingredients were a big selling point for me, and they promise to be 98.7% natural and biodegradable. That’s awesome to see if you are like me and trying to reduce your impact and buy more natural products. They also say that there are vegetables (broccoli, cucumbers, spinach) and green tea contained within that gives your face a nutrient boost. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to experience any benefits from the nutrients because I had an allergic reaction to the product,
which I noticed on the 3rd or 4th day of use.
They lose points for me for a few reasons, though I would still recommend them to others to try. First and most importantly, I had an allergic reaction to them, which is crazy considering its supposed to be hypoallergenic. I originally thought it was my moisturizer, but I finally narrowed it down to these towelettes, and as soon as I stopped using them, the itchy/burny red skin went away.
