New Orleans Chili Dark Chocolate
  • He is a big fan of anything dark chocolate and anything spicy, so this would be his favorite chocolate bar
  • I don't like the two flavors together, I think that the bold spiciness of the chili pepper overpowers the bitterness of the dark chocolate to the point of biting back
  • I love Wild Ophelia chocolate they have a cherry caramel that is divine, but this bar is not on my nice list

Wild Ophelia, New Orleans Chili Dark Chocolate, this chocolate bar is not to sweet but bold and bites back so to speak. My oldest son WS, loves this chocolate. He is a big fan of anything dark chocolate and anything spicy, so this would be his favorite chocolate bar.

The taste of chili pepper in this chocolate is very bold. He
likes the bold and bitter blend of the two flavors.

I don’t like the two flavors together, I think that the bold spiciness of the chili pepper overpowers the bitterness of the dark chocolate to the point of biting back. It was almost like dipping my chocolate bar into chili powder and then eating it.

There was so much chili flavor in the chocolate that the texture of the chocolate as it melted in your mouth was almost powdery. You can separate the two flavors, while the chocolate is melting in your mouth.

The chocolate itself was smooth and bitter, just like a good dark chocolate should be. When the chocolate flavor has melted away the flavor of the chili pepper is ...

all that is left, and it has the feel of a mild chili powder dryness to it.

I love Wild Ophelia chocolate they have a cherry caramel that is divine, but this bar is not on my nice list. The peppers in this bar come from Louisiana’s Bayou country,it is gluten free, it has no preservatives and is all natural.

The packaging is made with 100% recycled cardboard. Wild Ophelia as a company, I really like.

There chocolate is grown by American farmers, and made by American artisans. Their ingredients are all natural and the ingredients are often organic.

They have several unique flavors such as Peanut Butter Banana, BBQ Potato Chips, Beef Jerky, Southern Hibiscus Peach and more, including a Catching Fire series of chocolate.
