  • I was not disappointed, and these markers seem to perform well and are long lasting for a good price
  • I found this product at Target in the office supply section where there were a number of different marker options
  • Among the products available at Target (which was simply more convenient,) the Sharpie brand markers were a bit more expensive, but not so much to deter me from buying them
  • I do wish that I could have found a single permanent marker for sale with the ultra fine tip, but unfortunately, this was the fewest number of markers I could buy
  • It's about a dollar for each when you buy the two pack and they last a long time, so I would recommend these as a cost-effective, quality option

I picked up these markers because I wanted a precise, solid black line while I was making some holiday cards, and this product was a cheaper option made by a brand I trust. I was not disappointed, and these markers seem to perform well and are long lasting for a good price.

I found this product at Target in the office supply section where there were a number of different marker options. I’ve used Sharpie for a long time - even in art school as recommended by professors - and the quality is

at least somewhat comparable to some of the higher quality artist-grade markers but at a cheaper price. Among the products available at Target (which was simply more convenient,) the Sharpie brand markers were a bit more expensive, but not so much to deter me from buying them. I got two markers for a little more than a dollar each which was the least expensive option available. I do wish that I could have found a single permanent marker for sale with the ultra fine tip, but unfortunately, this was the fewest number
of markers I could buy. There was also a multicolor option available, but it was more than twice as much (for 4 or 5 markers) and only contained one black, which was really the only color I needed. I figured it was better to have a backup in case it ran out than to have multiple colors for more money. So it’s a good value overall.

The marker itself performs very well. It has a smooth line and is comfortable to hold, though the marker body is slimmer than typical, wider tip Sharpies.

All that really means is that depending on how you hold it, your finger could cramp up a bit easier like mine did. The ink comes out very black and it dries very quickly. I found that I sometimes had to do one or two test lines before actually getting the marker to write, but once the ink gets flowing, the line remains constant and true black in color so long as you maintain even pressure and move your hand steadily. If you draw too quickly, the ink doesn’t quite seem to
keep up, so you lose that steady line, but it’s an easy problem to fix. It also comes with a tight fitting cap that snaps onto the back for easy storage, something I’ve come to appreciate after buying cheaper markers with caps that fall off easily.

Although these aren’t high quality artist markers, they work well for lots of crafts and deliver a smooth, even line. It’s about a dollar for each when you buy the two pack and they last a long time, so I would recommend these as a cost-effective, quality option.

These permanent markers are best than any other brands of markers. The ink is long lasting and the tip is good for calligraphy. The ink does not smudge to the other places while using it. Thumbs up
