  • I’ve already mentioned the actress Helena Bonham-Carter, and now I think I’ll talk about the famous actor Johnny Depp, who I love because he always seems to bring in a very interesting side to all of his characters
  • However, strangely enough I do remember him from the movie “Edward Scissorshands” which was directed by one of my favourite directors, Tim Burton when I was still almost a baby, as well as even from the movie “Ed Wood”, which I couldn’t really understand at the time
  • For example, he played the eccentric, superstitious and humorous Native American Tonto in the movie “The Lone Ranger” that was released earlier on this year and I found his character quite captivating and funny
  • I think that I’m being very honest when I say that I’ve never seen Depp do a terrible or average job with any of the characters I’ve seen him play, but I do remember seeing him in some movies that I’ve never really liked where I thought that either the plot and the writing didn’t make much sense, or I thought were beneath his level of talent
  • I would recommend the movies of the actor Johnny Depp to everyone

There are a couple actors that I tend to respect more than most as an artist for the simple fact of how much passion and work that they put into their art form. I’ve already mentioned the actress Helena Bonham-Carter, and now I think I’ll talk about the famous actor Johnny Depp, who I love because he always seems to bring in a very interesting side to all of his characters.

I realise I’m a bit too young to remember him from days past when he played a role in the television series 21 Jump Street, or even the movie Platoon. However, strangely enough I do remember him from the movie “Edward Scissorshands” which was directed by one of my favourite directors, Tim Burton when I was still almost a baby, as well as even from the movie “Ed Wood”, which

I couldn’t really understand at the time. One of my favourites that he did along that period of time too was a movie called “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” which I can remember clearly because of the plot as well as Depp and Leonardo Dicaprio’s performance as his younger retarded brother.

I’ve also heard people talking about how Johnny Depp used to be a drug addict in the nineteen nineties. This was especially since he held part ownership of a club called The Viper Room, which was where the famous heartthrob River Phoenix died in nineteen ninety three. I also remember reading a couple articles on the matter as well throughout the years. However, whether or not him having an addiction was actually true and not just rumours, I don’t remember that side of him as I was still a child. I also heard that a little after that Johnny Depp ended up selling his share of The Viper Room, which goes to show that he must have been deeply affected by what happened.

One of the biggest things that I respect about the actor Johnny Depp is that, like the actress Helena Bonham-Carter, he is also quite versatile when it comes to playing characters. While many of his characters tend to be quite “cracked” or slightly crazy in my personal opinion, all of them that he has played vary to some extent. For example, he played the eccentric, superstitious and humorous Native American Tonto in the movie “The Lone Ranger” that was released earlier on this year and I found his character quite captivating and funny. However on the other hand I can also recall him playing a much more serious and sombre ...

role when he played the character of Gilbert Grapes in the movie “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape”. Not many actors are able to make such a transition very easily and do it so well to the point where their audience is always very captivated by their characters and the challenges that they face, as well as even bring humour to what would be considered as serious situations, but Depp generally accomplishes that and it is one of the things that showcases his wealth of talent. He also never limits himself to one genre of movie.

I think that I’m being very honest when I say that I’ve never seen Depp do a terrible or average job with any of the characters I’ve seen him play, but I do remember seeing him in some movies that I’ve never really liked where I thought that

either the plot and the writing didn’t make much sense, or I thought were beneath his level of talent. Even though some people might disagree with this, one of them is the movie “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” which I just did not get despite the fact that it seemed to get a fairly high rating.

The next thing is that I completely admire Depp as an artist because unlike some artists who I’ve met, he doesn’t seem to limit himself to one art form. What I mean is that he doesn’t just concentrate on his acting, but he has a love for music as well where he even has his own band. That appeals to me because I’m an artistic person as well who loves and participates in all forms of art.

I would recommend the movies of the actor Johnny Depp to everyone.
