  • Regardless of what I'm having to eat, be it a pasta dish, a meal containing some kind or meat such as beef or turkey, a pizza or soup, I like bread to go with my meal
  • There are certainly plenty of choices too when it comes to what kind of bread to have with a meal, and for one dollar and forty-nine cents, I decided the Bake House Creations Crescent Rolls were worth a try
  • There isn't much more I could expect from them as the price is terrific, the value is excellent considering how many crescent rolls a package contains and they bake without a problem in the oven

Dinner rolls make a nice addition to almost every meal. Regardless of what I’m having to eat, be it a pasta dish, a meal containing some kind or meat such as beef or turkey, a pizza or soup, I like bread to go with my meal. There are certainly plenty of choices too when it comes to what kind of bread to have with a meal, and for one dollar and forty-nine cents, I decided the Bake House Creations Crescent Rolls were worth a try. These crescent rolls are carried at

ALDI Food Market stores and sell for anywhere from fifty to seventy-five cents less than the name brand crescent rolls sold at other grocery chains. As long as they tasted good, the value would be great, since one package produces eight rolls and at the price they retail for, no other brand offers such a good value.

It’s important to remember that these crescent rolls aren’t flaky and they aren’t butter-flavored. They also aren’t extra large or “grand” as another brand labels its large crescent rolls. They are simple crescent rolls that

happened to be reduced in fat. Now for what they are, they’re great. When baked in accordance to the directions, they come out of the oven golden brown. They are a bit crispy on the outside, but softer on the inside. They give off the aroma of freshly baked bread and simply taste like bread because, again, they aren’t “butter tasting” like some name brands offer and they don’t have any other added flavors either, such as honey. I slice them, add a little butter, be it regular butter, honey butter ...

or even cinnamon butter if I’m feeling like it, and that adds some flavor to the crescent rolls.

For those that are on a budget but would still like some sort of biscuit to go along with their food, I feel the Bake House Creations Crescent Rolls are a good option. The price is unbeatable and the quality is comparable to a name brand crescent roll product. If you’re used to eating the flaky layer variety or the ones that are flavored with butter, honey or some other ingredient, then these

are likely to disappoint, but it’s not fair to compare them to those products since these crescent rolls aren’t designed to emulate them. For what they are, they’re great. There isn’t much more I could expect from them as the price is terrific, the value is excellent considering how many crescent rolls a package contains and they bake without a problem in the oven. I like them and highly recommend them as a great choice for those that are on a budget but don’t want to take everything off their shopping lists.
