Tang is under Kraft foods. It is a leader in powdered fruit juices. I have been drinking Tang powdered fruit juices for how many years now and it remains to be the the leader in giving perfect taste in powdered juice drinks. I have tried several flavors– Mango, Mango Orange, Ponkan, Orange and Pineapple and I am continually impressed with the products

that Tang produce. Just a few months ago, I came across a new flavor– Four Seasons. I have loved the canned version of Four Seasons the one specifically manufactured by Del Monte. Four Seasons is a mixture of Pineapple, Mango, Orange and Guava juices. It is the best thirst-quencher among the juices because it is a combination of four different fruits. My impression of Tang’s powdered version is not good and here’s why.

They failed in all aspects. The color is synthetic. If you purchase Four Seasons in cans, the color is light pink. It is because of the guava juice. It uses ripe pink guavas and this is why it has that shade. The powdered version has a dark pink color and it looked ...

to synthetic. It feels like you are drinking pink grapefruit as opposed to four seasons juice.

Another thing is the flavor which is very important. One of the most important thing about this flavor is the unison of all four fruits and the smell that clings with longevity is that of guava. It should have the ripeness of mango, the sweetness of

orange and guava and the sourness of pineapple. However, the powdered version tastes different. It has this underlying cough-syrupy-taste which makes it awful to drink the juice. I did not feel the natural fruit flavors of the four fruits. I think the powdered version is not close to the ones sold in cans. It is not a good substitute and does not provide that refreshing treat.
