  • Some upper end chopsticks cost a fortune while the lower end ones just looked flat out cheap and disposable
  • This is the ONLY site I found that you can get a bulk rate and mix and match such a wide variety of chopsticks
  • The designs take up about a few inches on the base part of the chopsticks and they range from symbols, to cranes, to flowers etc. I bought about 12 different designs and they are all gorgeous
  • I thought that red chopsticks might be too bright but I decided to try them anyway
  • If you are throwing an Asian themed party, definitely check out this site for favor ideas

We were recently planning a 30th birthday at our local hibachi restaurant and wanted to provide our guests with memorable favors as a thank you for coming. I researched high and low for the perfect Asian themed party favors and decided on chopsticks. Some upper end chopsticks cost a fortune while the lower end ones just looked flat out cheap and disposable. I stumbled upon asianideas.com in my searching for chopsticks and it led me to their bulk rated chopsticks. For 1.25 each you would wonder how good of a quality they can be but let me tell you they are absolutely gorgeous! They are

covered in a lacquer with beautiful designs. They have well over 20 different designs to choose from and the more you order, the more you save. (Ours came to under 1.25 each) The best part is you can mix and match them. This is the ONLY site I found that you can get a bulk rate and mix and match such a wide variety of chopsticks. The designs take up about a few inches on the base part of the chopsticks and they range from symbols, to cranes, to flowers etc. I bought about 12 different designs and they are all gorgeous. One ...

      • thing they don’t mention is that their “bamboo” design is almost like a frosted lacquer which makes it even more beautiful. I thought that red chopsticks might be too bright but I decided to try them anyway. When I got them in a saw that they are actually a darkened red and really highlighted the designs well.

Since I made my own chopstick holders with pearly paper and washi tape, I wanted something I can label them with to stand out as a thank you. On the website, they have different sized and designed stickers that you can personalize all a reasonable price. It worked out great

because not only was it cheaper than other sites, but it was really a one-stop shopping trip for these favors.

When I received the order (in a timely manner) it was inserted with a little personalized note telling us who packed them etc. It was a nice little touch to it. Not one chopstick came out broken and I can tell they would be very durable. They all came wrapped in a plastic pouch except for the cherry blossoms design for some reason. Nonetheless, all the designs were scratch free and well protected. If you are throwing an Asian themed party, definitely check out this site for favor ideas.
