I gave this new kind of snack a try one day, when my sister urged me to try it. She told me they were the off brand version of Cheetos, which ultimately caused me to laugh. In my experience anything that isn’t the actual original Cheetos are either too salty, lacking in cheese flavor, or just salty. So to say, I had my reasons for being to slow to try these Honey Flavor Cheese Curls. Never mind the fact that they were honey flavored. In the back of my mind, I’m thinking “Whose bright idea was it to create a knock off version of Cheetos with honey?” But since my sister claimed it tasted better than the original, and

would get me hooked, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to get my own bag.

The Honey Flavored Cheese Curls are created by the brand of Harris Teeter. The bag is a simple design with an enlarged image of the cheese curls. One serving, which is one cup is about thirteen curls and is a total of one hundred and sixty calories with ninety being from fat. Two hundred and seventy milligrams of sodium, fifteen grams of carbs, and two grams of sugar. Nothing out of the ordinary, typical and expected. Everything on the ingredients list is somewhat similar to the original Cheetos, except for the honey included of course. They are similar looking to Cheetos, except they are paler in ...

      • color and a lot more flakier and a bit greaser.

My impression of these curls were that they tasted nothing like Cheetos. Sure there was the soft cheese flavor, nothing strong and overpowering. But then there is the honey flavor that is infused in the cheese curls that is oddly sweet but not so much that you think you’re eating a fried fluffy stick of honey. I found that it tastes more like the flavor of honey barbecue sauce. Both flavors come together as one making up a delicious different taste that caught me off guard. Before I knew it I’d eaten well over thirteen curls in one helping. I can’t say that they tasted better than Cheetos, but they

were pretty darn tasty. I can honesty say I got addicted instantly, and found it hard put them down. Although what made me finally put them after indulging was the raw feeling in my mouth. It’s nothing personal towards the snack, but rather a common happening with all puffed snacks of any type. At least for me

I have say that these Honey favored cheese curls were surprising and was certainly out of the ordinary for me. They’re the kind of snack that I would eat once and a while. I’m glad that my sister introduced this product to me. For only $3.49 a bag, I feel like I got a pretty good deal.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
