To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee is Literature Classic. It is an epitome of innocence, southern life, and the injustices of the society, and is full of messages regarding everyday life and our society. I read this book since I was assigned to read it for my class to study the authors style and what not. I thought that I would be forcing myself to read it but instead I was glued to my seat, flipping through

the pages, and waiting for Boo Radley to come out.

Harper Lee had a great way of showing the innocence and the sense of adventure that Scout, Jem, and Dill possessed which also brought me back to my childhood days, which is how the story also started; Scout’s reminiscense. But the horrible injustices of the society kills the innocence in the children; these injustices were showcased in the trial of Tom Robinson, which was a heartbreaking scene; he was convicted guilty in a very airtight case. It was obvious tho the jury that he was innocent. It is also a book that exposes the truths of the society of that era which is somewhat like the society we live in today, which was shown by antagonists, such as Mr. Ewell and most ignorant members of the town. But there were also characters such as Atticus and his wise words that showed that there is still hope in humanity.

      • To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee
Lee created unique characters that are combined together to send an essential message to the reader. Lee used the characters well enough to balance out the good and bad. The world might be full of evil but it still contains hope.

Overall, To Kill a Mockingbird is a well-written book that would keep you flipping through vivid scenes. I would recommend this to everyone because of entertainment it provides and the messages that comes with it. I thank

Harper Lee for writing a brilliant book, and for being such as a great writer who was able to give entertainment through Scout and Jem’s adventures ,and convey the truth in society and suggest ways to handle it through Atticus’s wise words. In the end, I finished this book with a very important lesson learned which I will always remember, and I hope many others who read this or who will read this will also learn a lesson or two.
