  • The two of these songs, Little By Little and Stop Crying Your Heart Out are probably the best songs on this very bad record
  • And if you are wondering about what other songs on the album is like, then think about the song called Songbird, - they are primitive and boring
  • I think that if people with sober judgment would agree with me about the fact that this album is not good at all

This album has a weird title, and God knows this is a rather bad one. I like Oasis a lot. I love their first three records. And I love the singing of Liam Gallagher. Liam is a very gifted singer. His voice is a gift from above. But this album is very dissappointing. From my personal point of view, this is the worst album in the bands history. It is stikingly uninspired, and it is lacking coherence, and it does not have any really good songs, and has a couple of really bad ones.

I do not like the generic feeling of this album. This record is one of the most mediocre rock albums you will ever find.

It is so generic and typical. This album is surprising in how it sounds. When you listen to this album, you have the following thoughts: I am hearing the voice of Liam Gallagher, this voice is very memorable and distinct; so it must be an Oasis album. This must be Oasis. But what is this music though? Where does it come from? Who has recorded these songs? Is this a rock band? Is this a pop band with heavier leanings? ON this record it is even difficult to say whether the band is British. It easily could have been from even a different European country. The music is so generic and blank!

I really struggle to name any good songs on this album. I at first got acquainted with the records that came out as singles, like Songbird, Little By Little, Stop Crying Your Heart Out. The two of these songs, Little By Little and Stop Crying Your Heart Out are probably the best songs on this very bad record. But they still are not very good. And if you are wondering about what other songs on the album is like, then think about the song called Songbird, - they are primitive and boring. Most of the songs on this record are heavier and more rhythmical than Songbird, but overall they are still in the same league from the point of view of their composition ...

types. This album literally has no really good songs. None. Zero. It is very striking if Noel Gallagher was really such a great song-writeter. Maybe this was his darkest moment, he just did not feel like writing any good songs, maybe he did not bother to try, because he does not have any motivation for it since he is now rich and famous. Maybe it was his megalomania. Maybe he thought that anything that he writes would be good music. But if that is true, then he is wrong, because his first songs were good, and what one finds on this album is remarkably poor and substandard.

This album has no character, it has no quality. This concerns

not only the melodies but also the sound. This album also has some of the most ridiculous and laughable lyrics you will ever find on a rock record.

The only thing that probably saves this album is the singing by Liam. Liam still had it. He was in the game. His voice and delivery are good and consistent enough. This is especially evident on the song Stop Crying Your Heart Out. He literally saves this song from being appallingly boring.

I think that if people with sober judgment would agree with me about the fact that this album is not good at all. I am so convinced of it, I see no way for me to ever change my mind.
