  • I do recommend that if anyone were to use this hot oil treatment to rinse their hair with hot water first, skip the shampooing and add in the hot oil treatment

My hair was really in desperate need of some repairing and one of the hair care products I recently tried to help repair the damage was the Queen Helene Placenta Hot Oil Treatment. Overall, I must say my hair is a lot shiner, softer and healthier looking and feeling, but I must say I was very skeptical about using this hair treatment simply because it actually contains placental enzymes. However, I did like the sounds of the other nourishing ingredient in it, which was the panthenol, which are basically vitamins that nourish and repair hair damage, which is what I really needed.

      The way I used this

hot oil treatment was by first taking a cup full of warm water and placing the small one ounce clear tube it comes in into a cup so the oil could warm up and repair my hair better. After, I got into the shower and washed my hair well with my organic shampoo. Next, I opened the little tube, which was a bit tricky because you have to twist the cap off without squeezing the tube of oil at the same time all over the place. After, I poured the oil into my hands and massaged it into my hair and scalp well. Then, I left the placenta oil in my hair and on my scalp for about ten minutes while I washed up and shaved my legs. After the ten minutes was up, I rinse the oil out of my hair well with warm water and towel dried it.

I must say to my surprise my hair ended up being a little bit greasy to I had to get back into the shower and wash my hair again and condition it with my regular organic conditioner to insure my hair was well moisturized. After, I towel dried my hair again and blow dried it well and my hair actually came out silky smooth, frizz free,

soft and shiny without any split ends, but I must say I did not like the fact that I had to wash my hair twice. I do recommend that if anyone were to use this hot oil treatment to rinse their hair with hot water first, skip the shampooing and add in the hot oil treatment. Then after, shampoo the hot oil hair treatment out. The hot oil treatment works a lot better this way. However, I will say be very careful squeezing the hot oil out of the tube because it is runny and very oily, but it is free from any dyes and is clear in
color. However, if you spill it onto your clothing you will have a very hard time rinsing the oil out and will be left with an oil stain.

I will say the placenta hot oil treatment was affordable only costing my two dollars, but I have to say it is very hard to find and get a hold of when needed. The only store I have been able to find this hot oil treatment at is Sally’s Beauty Supply Store. Overall, I am happy with the hot oil hair treatment worked and would recommend it to anyone who has damaged hair because it will repair your hair well.
