      The comic book fan will delight in “The Avengers”. The movie has been much awaited by the Comic Book fan set. Persons familiar with Marvel Comic Book history know that Marvel characters—were invented continually. The preceding action was one of many significant reasons Marvel comic books were able to rise to the top so rapidly. There are different Marvel worlds: that is a certainty. The Avengers however share the same Universe; however, are approached in way of the singular Superhero; in the film.

      “The Avengers” movie takes all of the Avengers and places them in the same location. This is comparative to fantasy football where you assemble your team from different teams within the NFL. It is like a class reunion of class presidents from different high schools.

      The characters also possess very dissimilar super-powers. In example, Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr. is a regular kind of guy; until he dons his superhero suit. Next there is: Thor—played by Chris Hemsworth. He possesses a great deal of upper-body strength—it is easy to see. Hawkeye (played by: Jeremy Renner) is the bow and arrow guy. In fact he is so efficient at his job; he can easily bring

      down space vehicles. The Hulk (played by actor: Mark Ruffalo) is a very laid-back sort of person: that is until you make him angry—then watch out! He is like a “bull in a china shop.” Captain America (portrayed by Chris Evans) holds a very powerful shield with much versatility attached to it. The Black Widow, also known as Natasha (played by actress Scarlett Johansson) appears to have good aim as far as using weapons; and skilled in the martial arts. It may be said; the Black Widow and Hawkeye are not true superheroes per se: however, what group should you include them? Naturally, it makes sense the two characters hang out with the Comic circle mentioned above: Don’t you think?

      The comic heroes then each are unique: though you may still classify all as comic book superhero characters or characters with a great deal of strength and talent. The same thing may be said about species of plants; or differences in dogs as far as dog breeds. In other words, the traits are unique; however, when it comes down to it they are all part of the same group.

      In “The Avengers” it is essential all the superheroes are congregated together in the same place since the Earth is under danger. Loki (played by actor: Tom Hiddleston) who is Thor’s adopted brother presents the threat to Planet Earth. Loki is in control of ‘Tesseract’ which is a pulsating cube of energy which opens a portal to the universe. By way of the cube, Loki plans to institute the attack on the Earth by means of his fleet of machines which very much resemble reptiles. We do not know where the monster machines come from–that is where they are produced; or, for that matter where it is Loki inhabits: He is just one real “bad dude.” Loki and Thor are related to the mythical gods. The preceding knowledge comes about from a prior film: “Thor” which was shown the year before. However, not to digress. . . . . .

      It is Nick Fury (played by actor: Samuel L. Jackson) who sends out a call for help to the Avengers. Nick Fury needs the Avengers to meet the threat presented by Loki. Nick is the guy who runs SHIELD or the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. It is easily determined that Nick is based on a massive aircraft carrier. The aircraft carrier can also disappear from the sight of enemies ...

      or become invisible. Not surprising: by bringing the superheroes all together: old rivalries are reactivated–amongst the crew. In example, my “cool” hammer can easily outdo your power shield and that sort of thing. This goes on until the heroes learn that it is to their advantage to work as a team. It may be a good film to bring persons on your basketball ball team who wish to “hog” the ball all the time—and in so doing, sending the message: teamwork pays! The point is driven home, so to speak when the characters render thought-provoking remarks–most familiar

      Movies like the “The Avengers” are similar in nature; about teamwork; threats; superheroes commissioned by some “guy of importance.” The bad guy is played in a very over-dramatic way. So: “The Avengers” very much lives up to the template or reputation just mentioned.

      During the last portion of the movie a broad range of special effects are used where large interesting machinery and objects fight it out: complete with fireballs, and explosions. The battle scenes are supposedly in Manhattan. Here: Loki’s reptile machinery makes its appearance. The machinery appears programmed as if it has its own mind. It is backed up by other reptilian

      devices/machinery. The conflicts are very inventive, to say the least. You have to be there: to best appreciate it.

      “The Avengers” is well executed by Joss Whedon. It is full of vitality. I believe it provides comic book fans with the action adrenaline rush they are seeking. The characters are interesting; and their dialogue amongst each other is what is expected.

      Comic book fans will want to make sure they have plenty of popcorn and soda: since the film runs an engaging two hours and twenty minutes. However, you won’t mind it.

      The Cast:

      Iron Man or Tony Stark is played by: Robert Downey Jr.;

      Steve Rogers or Capt. America is played by: Chris Evans;

      Bruce Banner or the Hulk is played by: Mark Ruffalo;

      Thor is played by: Chris Hemsworth;

      Natasha or the Black Widow is played by actress: Scarlett Johansson;

      Clint or Hawkeye is played by: Jeremy Renner;

      Loki is played by: Tom Hiddleston;

      Nick Fury is played by: Samuel L. Jackson;

      The film’s distributor is: Marvel/Walt Disney Studios;

      The film’s Director is: Joss Whedon.

      It is written by: Zak Penn and Joss Whedon

      The film’s viewing time is: Two hours and approximately twenty minutes.

I loved this movie since it was filled with adrenaline and special effects. They introduced each story beautifully and at first I thought it was going to be a disaster see all of them together but it was great, the fight scenes never bored me and I loved the jokes of the superheros

Well, what more can I say? The movie turned out to be well and I really love the portrayal of Iron Man’s character. And I just want to share, remember his line “Let’s eat shawarma after this”? I’m not sure if that is the exact line but anyway, they did eat shawarma after finishing the movie And I found it really great that even outside the MArvel plot, they still have this`bond’.

This movie is really great I am not a fan of comics but after seeing this movie, I surely have to know which characters are these people and what are their contributions, from where they are and what else can I expect about these super heroes’ appearances and when. i am so hooked with Iron Man, most especially because I am such a huge fan of Robert Downey Jr. He is really so good at playing Ironman.

I have to agree with you. I truly like super heroes. Movies with super heroes are great for kids and adults. The world would not be the same without comic super heroes and the great actors who portray them. And I like all kinds of movies however, the idea that there is an icon out there to satisfy the inward desire of adults and kids to excel: well–frankly that is just awesome This is what this truly superb movie represents to me: it is a true action-packed super hero movie. Thanks truly for your comment.

Yes: that’s what makes this movie so truly significant. I like special effects when they are done well–don’t you? It absolutely holds you spell-bound. Let us face it that is why we visit a movie location or rent a movie–each of us wants to experience the spell-bound effect. You know what? That is what A Hitchcock would emphasize in all of his movies–if his audience did not respond with emotionalism he knew he had lost the idea behind making a great movie–however, he never missed a beat. I digress.

And when making a truly super hero movie it is necessary, in my opinion, to provide the viewer with plenty of appropriate special effects. It is necessary that the actor carry his voice just right at a specified time. It is just necessary to make the movie move with a great deal of action–and imaginative imagery. It is something that a movie goer learns to appreciate with time and diligence, just like a wine-taster does not just pour the glass of wine without tasting: he takes the art seriously and delicately samples it. I view every action packed movie with a great deal of judgement and note, in my mind what makes the movie more visually stimulating and truly an action-packed drama whether a cartoon based super hero movie or a drama. All of this mechanical detail with regard to the Cinema presentation I think is simply awesome.

Thanks for the comment:
