  • To start off, we all know how Samsung Galaxy phones are becoming popular to the people these days, and as we all know, popularity eventually becomes the cause for these phones to cost higher
  • If you're a hard user of phones, I don't recommend this to you
  • Well, have you noticed those photos taken with a crappy camera where when you review it on the device, it actually looks nice, but when transferred to an another device, it becomes crappy and so pixelated

To start off, we all know how Samsung Galaxy phones are becoming popular to the people these days, and as we all know, popularity eventually becomes the cause for these phones to cost higher. Well, if you want to try Android phones and you’re hesitant about it, you could always try to buy the cheaper ones first.. One of which is actually

      the Samsung Galaxy Y.

It’s low on specs which makes it cheap, but it already contains the features most higher Galaxy phones have. Considering it’s price, it’s very durable. If you’re a hard user of phones, I don’t recommend this to you. Some of it’s features causes slowness or lagging.

What threw me off the most about it is the fact that it cannot detect wifi too quickly. It actually requires more signal for it to be able to detect it, unlike other phones. Also, it’s too small. It makes it hard for me to even text because of the screen that’s too small for me to even press my fingers on.

If you’re a music person, this phone is okay for playing music, but ...

it’s volume range is quite low, with headphones though, it’s perfect. It doesn’t support some media files though, which sucks.

One more thing - it’s 2MP camera. Well, have you noticed those photos taken with a crappy camera where when you review it on the device, it actually looks nice, but when transferred to an another device, it becomes crappy and so pixelated?

Well, Galaxy Y has that. Which is okay, because what are digital cameras for, right? But, if you’re the type of person who doesn’t have a digi-cam and prefers to take photos only with your phone, well, you might not want what you’ll see. The videos have the same problem too.

Anyways, the phone was really made for basics use only. It’s great for starters.

I too have the same opinion that the phone is value for money except the fact that the resolution is not good which you should not even expect from a phone in this range. But if resolution is the preference there are other company phones which could help you out like u can try micromax, lava. I personally don’t trust lava and other such companies but have faith on micromax atleast as I personally find no complaints.

Definitely have to agree with you Sidd, the phone’s price is fair enough with it’s specification. I don’t think anyone with $ 10 budget would get to have a Sony Xperia Z resolution, haha
