  • Since you can consider most all of the colors neutrals, there's definitely shades that work for almost any skin color - and definitely more than one
  • What makes them even easier to use is the amazing makeup brush that comes with the palette - I would pay $10 for the brush alone
  • There is also a really convenient little indentation for the makeup brush, making it super easy to keep track of the brush
  • It's one of the best neutral makeup palettes on the market, and the shadows last for quite a while
  • I love this product, and I recommend it to anyone willing to splurge a little on some awesome makeup

This is one of my absolute favorite makeup palettes, and I use it with almost every eyeshadow look. At about $50, the price may seem a bit steep, but it is a must-have in any makeup fanatic’s makeup collection.

Although the term “naked” may conjure up images of a very subtle, day makeup palette, that couldn’t be further from the truth. This palette includes colors ranging from a light highlight cream color to dark navy and maroon colors that are perfect for a more dramatic look. The shades in between are some of the prettiest dusty roses, tans and chocolate shades I’ve ever used. Since you can consider most

all of the colors neutrals, there’s definitely shades that work for almost any skin color - and definitely more than one! The colors start out light and get darker as you go down the palette, with the far right color being a more steel gray/blue color that still works as a “neutral.” The lighter colors work beautifully for day looks or to simply enhance your natural beauty, while the shades on the right are perfect for darker complexions or for dramatic night makeup. The maroon color is one of my favorites for night because it’s a unique color that I don’t see in many other eyeshadow palettes. It
shimmers but doesn’t sparkle, and it looks very sultry and grown up when you wear it.

Like all Urban Decay eyeshadows, these shadows are extremely blendable an easy to apply. What makes them even easier to use is the amazing makeup brush that comes with the palette - I would pay $10 for the brush alone. It is a bit angled and soft - perfect for blending these colors. The brush has a nice weight to it, making it easier to control your hand as you blend the eyeshadow. And the bristles are thick enough to blend well. I hate brushes that are not stiff enough to blend and ...

so they simply swirl the color around instead of truly blending it into the eyelid. This brush is great, though! In addition to being blendable, the shadows are also pretty long-lasting; however, they last even longer when you pair them with Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion.

The palette is beautifully marketed in a brown rectangular case that fits easily into purses and even clutches. The bold lettering that says NAKED on front is simple and sophisticated. There is also a small rectangular mirror inside the palette. It’s not very large, but it is just large enough to allow you to see your eyes as you apply the shadows. There

is also a really convenient little indentation for the makeup brush, making it super easy to keep track of the brush.

At $50, this eyeshadow palette is a bit pricey, but the colors are absolutely beautiful and gives a lot of versatility. The fact that it includes a brush also makes it worth the price. It’s one of the best neutral makeup palettes on the market, and the shadows last for quite a while. You can also rest assured that Urban Decay does not test on animals, which is a bonus for me! I love this product, and I recommend it to anyone willing to splurge a little on some awesome makeup!

These shades not only work for any skin color, but also any skin type. The colors are so beautiful, and the consistency is even greater. I have used this palette on several women with older skin (50s and 60s), and they always request avoiding "shimmery" or "metallic" shadows because it accentuates their wrinkles. However, when I put this on them, they always love it. The shadows don’t sink into the creases like other shimmer shadows do.
