This hostel offers everything you’d expect from a newly-furbished hostel — internet access, clean showers, no lock-out, no curfew, a restaurant with both Chinese and Western food, a travel desk, a bookshelf, and great prices. I paid

about USD $5 per night, and they had everything I could have needed while in Beijing.

I booked a tour to the Great Wall through them - complete with lunch, a jade factory, the Ming Tombs, and ...

      • an English speaking guide.

The restaurant in the hostel was fantastic; I’d recommend the minnestrone soup, the pizzas, the dumplings, and the roasted duck.

The rooms were clean and came with bedding.

        The bathrooms are down the

hall, but kept clean each day, are same-sex only, and have 24-hour hot water.

I was there over Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) and they provided a traditional cooking lesson, fireworks, music, and dancing.

It was a great time all around.
