This is perhaps the best gluten free all purpose baking mix that I have tried. There are other mixes for pancakes, biscuits, cookies and other such products, but this one covers them all. There are two recipes included on the back of the package which work out quite well but this mixture can be used for so much more.
So far I have used the mix for regular pancakes, sweet crepes, spiced crepes, all sorts of cookies, cakes, gravy and dozens of
other things. This mix is made from a combination of flours plus xanthan gum. Although you can technically use a flour mixture for the same purpose, since the baking mix already has the xanthan gum in it, you don’t have to buy your own. This makes it easier to substitute flours in traditional recipes.
