      Gripping. Riveting.

This movie grabs you from the start and takes you on a ride through the African country-side, seeing a world torn apart by violence, greed, and pain.

You will inevitably swear never to buy a “blood diamond” again, knowing what it costs their world.

Leonardo DiCaprio, though occasionally faltering with the African accent, still plays a fantastic ...

      • role as a smuggler turned informant.

Dijimon Hounsou plays the caring and diligent father, unwilling to let go of his family for anything.

The ties of family carry this movie,

and you desperately feel love and care for the characters.

The African scenery is fantastic, the war-zone torture brutal, and the directing and cinematography brilliant.

Overall this movie is worth your time.
