  • I found Nivea Hand Cream Smooth Indulgence at Walgreens while browsing one day as I was there to pick up a prescription
  • The best thing about Nivea’s formula is that it only takes a little more than a pea-sized dollop of cream to completely cover and moisturize your hands
  • The product was a bit more expensive than I thought it might be, but far less than Aveda or Burt’s Bees at about $6 a tube
  • Also, the product does not have any fragrance to it, so if you’re looking for something to leave behind a scent I would recommend Burt’s Bees hand cream or another product with fragrance added to it

If you’re like me, you might also dislike hand creams that are too greasy or oily and take a long time to dry. I’ve tried several kinds of hand creams including Neutrogena’s Norwegian Hands formula, Burt’s Bees and Aveda’s Hand Relief with some luck but those were either too thick, took too long to dry or left my hands with an oily residue or an overpowering scent. I found Nivea Hand Cream Smooth Indulgence at Walgreens while browsing one day as I was

there to pick up a prescription. Since I was almost out of hand cream, I picked up a tube.

The best thing about Nivea’s formula is that it only takes a little more than a pea-sized dollop of cream to completely cover and moisturize your hands. I apply the cream every morning when I arrive at work and it only takes about 10-15 seconds to absorb into my skin and the moisture lasts all day, even after I wash my hands. With Aveda’s Hand Relief I find it takes more cream to cover my hands and it takes a bit too long to absorb. It also leaves behind a greasy feeling. Nivea’s cream leaves your hands soft and smooth but without any greasy or oily residue. I can easily type on my keyboard immediately after the product is absorbed without having slippery hands or getting the product on any of my office supplies.

I often get dry spots and cracks on the skin of my hands ...

during the winter months. After using this cream all winter, the dry spots and cracks totally disappeared. Even the dry, itchy feeling I sometimes get totally went away and my hands still stayed moisturized all day. The cream also goes a long way. I started using it about 6 months ago and still have about half the 3.5 ounce tube left. The product was a bit more expensive than I thought it might be, but far less than Aveda or Burt’s Bees at
about $6 a tube. Also, the product does not have any fragrance to it, so if you’re looking for something to leave behind a scent I would recommend Burt’s Bees hand cream or another product with fragrance added to it. I highly recommend this product to anyone who does not like to wait for their hand cream to dry and want intense, all day moisture. I will continue to purchase this product over more expensive brands and give it 10 out of 10.
