Game Assembly is a website that offers simple rewards for doing simple tasks. You might be familiar with similar websites such as Prizerebel, Points2shop, and Swagbucks. This website is much different from its competitors.

Signing up is easy. You don’t really need to input any personal information. The website is sort of a mini gaming community. There are articles written by the website owner about recent interesting gaming news. Each user has a profile with unique features. You get friend suggestions based on your profile information. This is basically based on the games you play, what consoles you own, and the types of games that you enjoy. The community is similar to facebook, except it’s for gaming. You can unlock achievements, medals, and

ranks to display on your profile. You can also set up groups, upload photo albums and avatars, and create events. There’s a forum section from which you can create discussions about the website in general, gaming, or any other random topic. There’s also an arcade section where you can play online flash games hand-picked by the staff.

You can earn points by completing tasks hosted by certain providers and redeem the points for rewards, not money. You can also get points for unlocking achievements and completing activities.

With all these features, this website doesn’t live up to my expectations. It feels very unprofessional. The website is managed by one person and there’s only one other administrator. There aren’t many active users either. The earning ...

      • rates are good but the single owner has to process your rewards manually. Also, the owner has some problems with Paypal and sometimes gets into conflicts with the providers.

I’ve gotten two Amazon gift cards from Game Assembly as well as God of War 3 (a PS3 game) so it is legit. It’s way better than other reward websites that pay half as much for the same work. The website was never that exciting though. It has a lot of potential for greatness but it isn’t a popular site.

I like the website for the games. I always play PixelKnight on there. It’s so much fun. I don’t like the providers though. Game Assembly has many tasks for points but they aren’t all

good. A lot of the offers require downloading software. I would download the game or whatever, and wouldn’t get the points. The software would try to download more crap and basically spams my hard drive. The surveys are really bad. It would seriously be titled “Movie survey” (or something else)….and would ask “Have you watched a movie in the last 6 months?” I would say yes and it would say I don’t qualify. I watched videos for points which was really easy.

Game Assembly is a good website for what it is. It’s better than other reward sites in terms of earnings and brings many great ideas to the table but the lack of good tasks and lack of active users ruins the experience.
