  • I had never tried a peel-off mask and it came with amazing results
  • The one I bought was cucumber, and had a nice light cucumber smell
  • I like how it is quick to dry, you don't have to spend half an hour waiting for it to dry like you would a clay mask
  • I think it's like a snake shedding its skin
  • I would pair it up with an exfoliating scrub for the best results, but if you have sensitive skin this would be great for you

The first ever peel-off mask I tried was a pink bubble gum one. It was a faint pink colour, and smelled nice. I had never tried a peel-off mask and it came with amazing results.

Freeman is cheap, coming at about $4, and comes in a 150mL container that is easy to squeeze. I buy all of my Freeman facial products at Wal-Mart. The one I bought was cucumber, and had a nice light cucumber smell. It’s not heavy and doesn’t linger in the air. It’s light and nice. It doesn’t take long to dry, 5 minutes or longer, depending

on how much you put on. It covers your face easily, and you don’t need a lot to be able to cover your whole face. It doesn’t constrict your face like a clay mask, giving you more mobility. It also doesn’t crack like a clay mask does, it only starts to peel around the edges, not in the center. I like how it is quick to dry, you don’t have to spend half an hour waiting for it to dry like you would a clay mask. You don’t have to wash it off, just peel, which is really cool. I think it’s like a snake shedding its skin. However, sometimes you might not get all of it, so I like to rinse my face afterwards. It even says you should rinse with warm water.

The only problem with that is that is when water comes in contact with the gel, it turns slimy and then can be a hassle to wash off.

It doesn’t have a very strong cooling sensation, unless I’m walking around. Not that it bothers me, but sometimes I like the cooling sensation to know that it’s doing something. I’ve had the mask for a very long time,

and it seems to stick around the cap. However, it’s easy to clean since it dries and you can just peel it off. The gel itself is really heavy, but it doesn’t weigh now your face and still feels light and as if it’s not there. In the beginning it worked really well, cleaning my pores and especially blackheads which was what I really liked. However, as time went on and I had the mask for a few months, it now comes off and leaves my skin kind of flakey, as if it was dry. But after I run some
warm water over my face it goes away and it leaves my skin soft and smooth. It takes away all the excess oil that lasts to the next day.

Overall, the smell is nice, and how it cleans my skin when I first buy it is good. Also, I find it easier to manage than a clay mask because it is so light and doesn’t constrict my face. It’s cheap and it still does a good job. I would pair it up with an exfoliating scrub for the best results, but if you have sensitive skin this would be great for you.
