  • Part vaudeville, part circus, it's one of the best shows in Vegas
  • My only problem with the show is that it lacked some of the mystery all of the other shows have
  • It's a necessary trade-off for all the audience participation and gags, but it's definitely worth mentioning that there is a distinctly different mood about this show
  • It's only a 90 minute show which I believe is a bit shorter than most Cirque shows, but every single minute is packed with fun and entertainment

This is not your typical Cirque du Soleil show, but it’s a wonderful addition to their lineup. Zumanity has all the great circus acts of a typical Cirque performance, but this time, it’s chocked full of zany commentary, wild performers and audience participation. Part vaudeville, part circus, it’s one of the best shows in Vegas.

Your ring-leader for the night is a quick-witted, cross-dressing mastermind who makes the show as funny as it is sensual. Wonderful host!! The comedy acts are adult-themed and hilarious. Many of them even bring audience members up on stage to participate which is very different than Cirque shows - and totally awesome. The opening act is extremely beautiful,

fascinating and almost entirely nude. But not in a raunchy way - it’s just beautiful to watch. A lot of the acts center around sexuality and relationships in a way, and they add in the awesome acrobatics to make it as awe-inspiring as it is erotic.

Like all Cirque shows, and all headlining Vegas shows, the tickets are a bit expensive. However, they do offer lots of specials and promotions, available for viewing on their website. Even if you don’t qualify for one of the discounts, try meandering around the hotel because we were handed a flyer by a hotel employee that offered buy-one-get-one-free tickets. So our balcony seats (front row looking ...

      • over the edge!) were only about $55 each. Expensive, but not bad compared to the competition.

My only problem with the show is that it lacked some of the mystery all of the other shows have. It’s a necessary trade-off for all the audience participation and gags, but it’s definitely worth mentioning that there is a distinctly different mood about this show. They also don’t have any high-flying acts other than the silk rope act (which is actually pretty incredible) which was a bit disappointing.

There’s no halftime break like with most Cirque shows, so be sure to sip your adult beverage slowly. I had to get up about 20 minutes before the

end to bolt to the bathroom; fortunately, if you’re in the balcony, the bathrooms are super close and you can still HEAR everything going on. It’s only a 90 minute show which I believe is a bit shorter than most Cirque shows, but every single minute is packed with fun and entertainment.

We went to this show having watched clips of it online and reading reviews about it, so we knew we were in for sensuality and a good bit of nudity. You should definitely check out the reviews to see if it’s your type of show. This is a wonderful show that anyone who isn’t easily offended will have a great time at.
