  • When I called about an issue in which they had not taken a phone off of my plan, I was told that is was past due and I need to pay them $400 before they did anything to fix what happened
  • If you have a T-Mobile store close by you may be able to get better service, but having needed to speak to the over the phone service people a few times, I do not recommend calling it for any issues

I have had to call them a lot recently in regards to my former cellular phone as I have recently left the T-Mobile company and am currently looking for another cellphone provider. Their customer service representatives have been for a large part widely unhelpful and some of them are even rather rude. While they say they record conversations, if you do not personally record them yourself you will be the one getting the raw end of the deal. I had been with T-Mobile for a couple years and before talk

of a possible merger with AT&T, they had decent enough customer service. The last call I placed just this past week was absolutely terrible and solidified my decision to leave the company.

When I called about an issue in which they had not taken a phone off of my plan, I was told that is was past due and I need to pay them $400 before they did anything to fix what happened. I told them that I had spoken with them on the matter of the extra phone months before ...

      • my bill even got that high with the time and date that they were called and they said they could not access the conversation. After being frustrated with an employee that was literally no help, I asked to speak with a manager. The attitude of the manager made me feel as though I should have never had called in the first place. Her comments were short, mean and nasty with things being said like ‘maybe you shouldn’t have gotten the extra phone if you were going to decide to cancel
it after two years of having it’. I was for lack of a better word appalled at that and asked to speak to her supervisor in which I was abruptly hung up on.

It just made me realize that I do not want to go back to a company with customer service like that. If you have a T-Mobile store close by you may be able to get better service, but having needed to speak to the over the phone service people a few times, I do not recommend calling it for any issues.
