  • Nevertheless, this becomes less of a problem a problem when the rest of the band joins in after around a minute and the instruments and chorus of vocals certainly occupy the empty space that was present at the beginning of the track
  • A nice change with this record, which is particularly demonstrated with this track in my opinion, is that the band finally reached a point where they honed their songwriting abilities and the difference between a track on their debut record in comparison to this song is incredibly noticeable

The Kids Will Be Alright, Eventually is a song by Sledding With Tigers and is the opening song on their third album, The Arrested Cats. Opening up with an acoustic guitar pattern, the track starts off at a very fair pace and an empty sound.

Despite this, the sound does pick up as the guitar takes on a riff

which has more character to it and the vocals enter the track as well.

Something I should mention about this song is that there are actually seems to be some background hum picked up in the recording which is odd because the first two records seem as if they had better production.

they honed their songwriting abilities and the difference between a track on their debut record in comparison to this song is incredibly noticeable.

In terms of structure, the band does a nice job of relying on somewhat melodic verses which are comprised primarily of vocals and a violin which then give way to far more energetic choruses where the

vocals really pick up and the band are finally able to reach a sound that I was hoping they would after listening to their first two records.

Overall, The Kids Will Be Alright, Eventually is an incredibly strong opening to this record and hopefully a hint of the sound the band would go on to explore throughout this album, incredible start.
