  • I do like expensive and luxurious beauty items and don't mind paying out for them, however there are plenty of products from the likes of Avon that are not only far more cost effective but work equally as well
  • One particular range from Avon that always impresses me is the Senses collection and one of my favourite shower creams is their 'Vintage Glamour'
  • I prefer to use this whilst bathing personally as I find I can coat my entire body in a thin layer and soak in the bath letting the moisture seep into my pores before rinsing off leaving super soft and gently scented skin
  • A little seems to go a long way and a small amount seems enough to suffice cleaning my whole body so at the current price of £1.75 it is a very economical purchase and one that I will definitely buy again in the future
  • I would highly recommend this shower cream as out of the Senses range I feel this is the most luxurious and has a beautiful romantic scent to it that though is quite faint, it still lingers on the skin for hours after using and I only wish there were matching beauty items such as body lotions of even a perfume

I do like expensive and luxurious beauty items and don’t mind paying out for them, however there are plenty of products from the likes of Avon that are not only far more cost effective but work equally as well.

One particular range from Avon that always impresses me is the Senses collection and one of my favourite shower creams is their ‘Vintage Glamour’.

Vintage Glamour is a relatively new addition to the Senses range and is so far proving to be a best seller so my local Avon representative informs me. It comes presented to us in a large 500 ml bottle which is upright standing and has a slight curved angle

to it and is complete with an easy to open flip top lid. The only let down with this product - and all of the Senses range I feel - is that the packaging has a slightly cheap and tacky appearance to it and it greatly lets it down. The bottle itself is acceptable, however on the front is a rather cheap looking sticker with the logo and a photograph of a woman but it seems it has little to do with the actual product. Those are just my feelings on the subject though and it doesn’t seem to affect it’s sale’s figures and at the end of the day it’s the actual product’s effectiveness that counts.

The Vintage Glamour cream just oozes sophistication, and is thick and creamy in consistency which is subtly scented with lily and almond blossom and gives off the most beautiful aroma, smelling far more expensive than just an Avon product.

I prefer to use this whilst bathing personally as I find I can coat my entire body in a thin layer and soak in the bath letting the moisture seep into my pores before rinsing off leaving super soft and gently scented skin.

When I have used this in the shower I have found it to lather up instantaneously and the bubbles emit a soft almond scent that is very ...

intoxicating and has just the faintest hint of lily making it a lovely shower cream. I have found some Avon products have upset my skin in the past causing my skin to break out in rashes or just dry up but this has luckily never happened when using this which I am so glad about given the fact it’s becoming a firm favourite of mine. A little seems to go a long way and a small amount seems enough to suffice cleaning my whole body so at the current price of £1.75 it is a very economical purchase and one that I will definitely buy again in
      the future.

I would highly recommend this shower cream as out of the Senses range I feel this is the most luxurious and has a beautiful romantic scent to it that though is quite faint, it still lingers on the skin for hours after using and I only wish there were matching beauty items such as body lotions of even a perfume.

My only gripe is that the bottle just looks a bit tacky so I tend to hide it in my bathroom cupboard if I have guests around to my home which if Avon just changed the design I wouldn’t need to do that anymore as the actual shower cream is simply divine.

10 out of 10 from me.
