I recently purchased the Nude Skincare Cleansing Facial Oil. I bought it primarily because it can act as a makeup remover but it is also just a basic facial cleanser. Three things that initially attracted me to this particular cleanser were the fact that it is detergent free, it is supposed to be mildly exfoliating, and it is supposed to be gentle. I have used way too many harsh eye makeup removers over the years and I always end up with red, irritated eyes. That’s why I always go for removers that promise to be gentle now. The only thing that made me hesitate in purchasing is the price. A 3.4 ounce bottle was about forty dollars. I’ll just be honest here and say that the main reason I went through with the purchase was because

I had a Sephora gift card. I would probably not have purchased this with all of my own money. That said, I like the product a lot. I think that overall it does a fantastic job of removing not only my eye makeup but also my face makeup as well in addition to just giving me a really clean face. No, I do not think that this cleanser is good for preventing acne so if if acne control is something you are looking for, I would not recommend this product. I tried using this product on its own to both clean my face of all makeup and control my acne but found that I was still getting pimples so now I use a separate acne product. However, since this product never made any claims about acne,

      • I do not mind so much.

There are several things I like about this product, mostly relating to how it feels on the face. It is incredibly gentle. It almost feels like I am pouring milk on my face, as weird as that sounds. It’s just a very soothing, comforting feeling. It does clean my makeup off but it doesn’t feel like it is stripping my makeup off at all. My skin isn’t dry or irritated after use. It’s actually quite moisturized. It feels very light and natural (and from looking at the ingredients list, it really is very natural as the name “Nude Skincare” would suggest). One thing that I have to mention is that the word “oil” being in the title of this product is slightly misleading, in my opinion. It just does not really

feel like an oil. As I mentioned before, it feels more like milk. For those who have oily skin like me, don’t be afraid of the fact that this is called a facial oil. It has not made me more oily.

The only consolation for the high price is that it does not take much of this product to coat and clean my entire face so I will be using it for awhile. Overall, I have to give the Nude Skincare Cleansing Facial Oil a rating of a 9 out of 10. I hate the price, but love the product. Will I spend $40 of my own money on this product to get it again? Probably not. However, I do recommend it to anyone who does have the money because it is a very good quality product.
