  • Well, you should definitely get the Xbox 360 Slim
  • I myself recently got one when my PS3 was broken by my brother accidentally, and I am definitely not a fan boy of either consoles, but the Xbox 360 is way better in my opinion
  • And since I love gaming, less lag is always better
  • The dreaded 'Red Ring Of Death' problem is also reportedly gone, which is a great relief to most Xbox 360 users out there, as my friend was devastated when his Xbox 360 encountered the same problem
  • Overall, I feel that this is a console worth getting since it offers great online services and also has a huge variety of games, and also,if you are a hardcore gamer than you should get the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB straightaway to avoid encountering memory space problems

Looking for a great platform to play games like Call Of Duty or Battlefield on? Well, you should definitely get the Xbox 360 Slim. I myself recently got one when my PS3 was broken by my brother accidentally, and I am definitely not a fan boy of either consoles, but the Xbox 360 is way better in my opinion. Here’s why.

Variety of games: The Xbox 360 is a platform for plenty of games, and chances are if the games are on PC, or PS3, the Xbox 360 will most likely have it. So, normally when a new game comes out, I trade in my old ones for the new ones. The Xbox 360 is also home to some exclusive, only for the Xbox 360 games, like the Halo and Gears Of Wars series, and I am a huge fan of these two series, because they are AWESOME games. Also, if you are the sporty and active

type, then you should also get the Kinect Bundle, which has some games like Kinect Sports which allows you to get some physical activity from the comfort of your own home. Kinect also allows you to play with your family and friends, which can help you guys to bond together more. I myself also got the Kinect Bundle with the Xbox 360 Slim 4GB one.

Xbox Live: To have a gold membership in Xbox Live, you have to buy the gold membership for less than 10 dollars per month. It is definitely worth it as you get the opportunity to access multiplayer for certain games, and also, I noticed that lag on Xbox Live is way lesser than lag on PlayStation Network. If you have both consoles, you will certainly notice that. And since I love gaming, less lag is always better. With Xbox Live Gold, you can also get early access to certain games and demos.

      Better compared ...

      • to previous models: The Xbox 360 Slim is less bulkier than the previous Xbox 360 models, and this allows it to be stored in smaller spaces. Microsoft also improved on the hardware so the Xbox 360 Slim is super quiet as compared to the previous models, so you don’t have to be annoyed by the noise when enjoying your game. The dreaded ‘Red Ring Of Death’ problem is also reportedly gone, which is a great relief to most Xbox 360 users out there, as my friend was devastated when his Xbox 360 encountered the same problem.

Disadvantages: The Xbox 360 Slim has a couple of disadvantages though. I got the Xbox 360 Slim 4GB, and it has too little memory if you are a hardcore gamer, and you can only play most games on discs, not download them. But there is a way around this problem. You have to get a 250GB hard drive made for the Xbox

360 Slim to solve this, and the price is not cheap at all. But if you are into gaming then it is worth it. Also, you cannot move the console around when a disc is inside(due to the disc drive’s fast spinning speed), or you will ruin both the game disc and the disc drive, and that kind of annoys me a lot, especially when someone else accidentally moves it.

Overall, I feel that this is a console worth getting since it offers great online services and also has a huge variety of games, and also,if you are a hardcore gamer than you should get the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB straightaway to avoid encountering memory space problems. Even though you may have to pay to get the online services, the significant reduction in lag on Xbox Live compared to the PlayStation Network, is definitely worth every single cent for the Xbox Live Gold membership in my opinion.
